Yes - 25-30 is a very manageable amount of machines - but it also depends on your locations - I focus a lot on large Agricultural accounts - packing sheds - they have a lot of employees!! But I really like my accounts now !!

Sorry for the late reply. As long as your using the upgraded monthly device plan through NAYAX, you should have access to product tracking. Inside the app, there should be 3 little dots on the lower right hand corner, click that and then click last sales. Any transactions will show-up under the "last sales" tab. You should see an MDB code that correlates to each individual purchase..

I found mine in the app. There should be 3 little dots at the lower right corner, press that, then go to last sales. Any vend attempts will be listed by date, time, dollar amount etc.. inside each attempts, there should be a corresponding MDB code

This is great information. I just set up my first machine and wish I’d found your video beforehand. Any advice on the best way to get the codes after set up?

Yes, they keep track of cash and card sales. Also here’s a code for 7% off any NAYAX purchases you might make. “Asheville7” This code is good indefinitely so make sure to save it for future use. Have a good day!

Great videos, I am about to start a vending machine business. They reschedule the delivery same way they did to you. I would like to know more about the 10 cents extra in credit/debit card purchases. Do you just add it in the app? Do you need a permit to do that? Do you keep those 10 cents as a profit? How do you get the sticker to let the customers know about it? Thank you.

You’ll have to call NAYAX and ask to setup “two tier pricing” - they also have a little sticker that you can place on the machine that lets the customer know that there is a 10cent fee on cards basically.. this fee generally covers Your credit card fee and any extra goes towards your NAYAX monthly fee for the device..

As long as you have product tracking enabled on your device through NAYAX, there should be some little dots on the lower right corner which takes your to “last sales” the codes/purchases will show up in this section

Hi again another question, so understand getting the codes but are creating the columns yourself renaming and putting the MDB codes? Are you doing the “create” feature or how do the columns appear. My machine is up and in my account by the product map page for me is blank

Hey. sorry for the delay. There should be an existing column on the products map page (using a laptop or desktop computer) where you can enter your MDB codes in order. Then you can work on naming each row, pricing, etc.. Its a good idea to save your work frequently instead of getting everything perfect and then attempting to save. There were a couple of times where I did that and encountered some form of error and had to re-do work..

I just “purchase” one of each of the items, in order, then see what codes show up on my NAYAX card reader app under “last sales”

Hi! is it possible to figure this out on a machine that is already placed with the nayax card reader attached. Also, if i have another machine that is the exact same as the machine already placed(crane 730) would the mdb codes be the exact same? Any help would be appreciated. thank you!

You can still use the same method, you'll just have to catch the snacks each time you test vend, or just go ahead and remove the first 1 or 2 snacks from each slot first. As for the surcharge, it's .10 cents for each card swipe and adds onto your machines price. (So 1.50 items become 1.60) This can be removed by NAYAX but I've never experienced an issue with the extra .10 as long as you have a sticker on the machine that notifies the customer up front.

@@WesleyAllenNC yes understood. I can see that my snack machine has a bunch of 'unknown products' with their pricing included but I didn't do that. My soda machine only has one 'unknown item' with pricing but I have 9 items in my soda machine. And without my PA code it is not letting me update my products.

When setting up a products map it requires that I put in a PA code. How do I retrieve that?

As long as you are paying for product tracking (it's like 9.99 monthly per device) you should see it in the recent sales portion of the app. If you don't see or have access to the recent sales, then you will need to upgrade your service plan with NAYAX

This is very informative. By any chance, is there a way to see how much in case the machine has taken in from cash transactions? Because I was told by Nayax that it doesn’t have that function

NAYAX has a debit card that you can purchase for a few bucks that links to all your active machines for this purpose

My wife and I are new to vending machines, still dragging boxes of everything to our one machine. But after watching this I’m going to set up inventory right away. One question-you say “test vend” each item. Is that through the app with no actual sale occurring? Thank you

You can get a NAYAX card from their website that will be recognized by all of your machines and not charge you for test vending. But honestly, I just open the door and use change from the machine to test vend each option when setting up a new machine. You can also set the whole machine to .25 cents and just use a quarter for each test vend if you prefer.

I always found mine within the MoMa app. If you go to sales, then last sales, it will show all of your recent transactions. Within each transaction line theirs will be an MDB code. There may be another way to test, but I always just make a test purchase with cash or the NAYAX test card (sold separately from NAYAX for like $5) .. hopefully this helps.. if you ever need to make additional device purchases, promo code “Asheville7” will get you 7% off any and all future orders with them.

Does Nayax have an option any way to track the expiration dates for the products?

There’s a red button on the NAYAX telemetry device with a money bag symbol💰. Just hold that button down until it beeps. I do this anytime I take money out of the machine

Are you using NAYAX? If so, once it’s all connected, test vend each item and after each one, open the mobile app and visits the “last sales” section. It should show you an MDB code for that particular purchase

It’s the same process really. Make a purchase and then see what code shows up in the NAYAX app. You can test vend all spirals, or connect the dots by buying the first and last item in a row. Idk if this makes sense?

Good afternoon, Ive been given the opportunity to manage about 25 vending machines. The ones I personally own (7) I know the stock I would normally put in and average sales per week. However, in order to manage this voulme, I will have to hire a driver to help with stocking as I work full-time. How do I keep track of my inventory and cash? Is there an app or program that will integrate with the machines. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You’ll really need to have some sort of credit card reader on each machine which will do both. I use NAYAX and It will let you know what specific inventory levels are in each machine so you can plan accordingly. It also tracks sales and how much money is in the machine. Check them out! I just keep the door open and then test vend. You can get an account card from NAYAX that should work across all your devices for test vending. It's like a debit card but doesn't charge you.. Or just feed some cash or coins in for testing and just keep pulling it out for the next test vend.

Click on your machine. Then click the 3 dots icon in the bottom right corner. Then click the last sales option. After you make a selection, check the last sales and see what pops up. It should just be a simple number within the parenthesis
