If he can accomplish a lot of what he wants to in Baltimore as he's done in his life, he will be President some day. He has the "it" factor and the positive energy. What a great story.

Representative of what? We have 23 Baltimore City Public Schools where all of the students are not on their proper math grade level. A school for middle school boys in the city is closing and he hasn't said a word

I'm honored to have voted for him.

Wes Moore isn't someone who comes from a well known or distinguished pedigree, but he seems determined to make those opportunities possible for his own kids and those of his constituents. I look forward to following his continued story. Congratulations to all of you!

Wes' legislators have failed the children of Baltimore City. The schools report is abysmal. Stop stealing the tax dollars and failing to uphold your fiduciary duties and accountability to the people. The crime is out of control. What's your plan? All I hear is you doubling down on bad policies that led us here. Pathetic.

Wes moore sat on a non profit where he paid himself millions of dollars. As a treasurer of a non profit myself thats actually NON PROFIT... He is disgustingly corrupt.

He makes me want to move back to Maryland!

As an older Black man born in 1955 in New York City (Manhattan), it is good to read and hear news about a Black man achieving oppose to being on the evening news for a crime committed.

He won in a landslide--and remember this is after 2 terms of a very well-liked Repub governor, Larry Hogan (moderate and an anti-trumper.) Maryland is a "blue" state, but there are pockets of ultra conservatives and right-wing religious here, at least where I live.

Md budget has been great with Hogan. I hope he doesn't mess it up like O'Malley did.

Lots of people commenting here that He's a future presidential candidate. It's too early to tell whether or not he has what it takes to lead us as a nation. We need more than just a handsome man with a beautiful wife and children and a gigantic smile. Democrats have been running Baltimore for decades. They have yet to make a positive change. If he can clean up Baltimore, maybe he can look to higher office.
