Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This is my fourth McNees and I’ve spent some money, wasted some money, and had some revelations about this sure-to-be classic knife.

Recently had one come in for a regrind that had the Skiff fat pb washers installed in it. 100% recommend. Great to see you post a few vids man🤘🤘

I have one of the older 20cv flat ground ones and it’s still great I’m going to send it to BGM for a hollow grind soon though. I did throw skiffs in it and custom timascus studs. The skiffs have it dropping like a guillotine and it’s rock solid with zero blade play. Justin David makes some insanely nice studs you can find him in most fb knife maker groups.

I’m very familiar with Justin David- haha have purchased lots of studs from him! Thanks for the comment and I’m glad the 3.5 is working for you!

Just got my first one yesterday. Love its design and action; however, on mine you really cannot have any pressure whatsoever on the lock bar to deploy it. Is that typical? And it’s hard for me to tell if it’s actually hollow ground. It’s a new drop in magnacut from knifecenter. Are all of the new models just standardizing the hollow grinds? If so, that would put my mind at ease

All the new models are hollow ground. You would know if yours was not. Very typical to not be able to apply any pressure on the lock bar or else it won’t disengage- knives running on bearings seem to have a much stronger detent already.
