To support the adoption of digital technology, MCMC has realigned MCMC Academy's core services by expanding its role to become the Communications and Multimedia Centre of Excellence, focusing on strategic collaboration with the industry and academia to prepare the workforce for the digital age.
MCMC Academy has been conducting a series of Capacity Development Programmes (CDeP) that provides awareness on the role of MCMC as the regulator for the converging Communication and Multimedia industry, functions related to network security, spectrum management, development of the 5G technology and matters related to EMF and health.
Our Research and Enterprise Development accelerates research collaborations with academia to support MCMC’s interest, and its mandate to improve the industry in Malaysia.
To foster learning and innovation, the KMRC library and knowledgehub were established at MCMC Academy. The knowledgehub, an integrated library & knowledge management system provides access to various critical knowledge assets.
MCMC Academy actively seeks collaborations with academia, training institutions, government agencies and associations to gain innovative insights to enrich the understanding in the field of policy, regulation and promotion of research and development. These partnerships aim to provide the nation with digital leadership programs, knowledge-research resources, and to be a 'go-to' center for holistic learning experiences.
