LOL Mine as well but in a different way. My mother's prized possession was a round, teak dining table and chairs. It was very weird in that the chair backs made up part of the table skirt. Which was the space-saving she was looking for in our very small dining room. [part of the open plan, L-shaped living room] If I had a nickel for every hour I spent oiling that table! When Mom died, my sister asked me if I wanted it *NO!* It's all yours, have fun taking care of it.
Andy, you are the brightest spot in my week of binging furniture flipping videos! I adore your clever story-telling style. You have managed to create this wonderful little niche that sets you apart from the rest. Best of all, you don't cut corners or sacrifice content in the process. Your videos deliver everything your audience needs to know, from start to finish. JUST like a perfect story! 😃

Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included kzread.infoUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

Always trust your gut. I picked up a 10k original Duncan Phyfe drop leaf table, with 3 leaves, seats up to 12, for 20 bucks at a thrift store. It was covered in toys, even had a bicycle on it. My husband was not thrilled until the auction house sent back the estimated value...lol Trust your gut.

Another excellent and engrossing video. I love mid century modern. In the late 70s we bought HUD Danish teak bookshelves and we still have them. I did some damage to one of them by drilling a hole in the back for cords for our record player (pre CDs, pre MP3 players, the original stereo set up) which kills me now! But the sleek teak of these bookshelves is just so beautiful and classic. I really appreciated your preserving the teak trim both as a sign of respect for the design and the wood, and because it looks beautiful with the paint. Looking forward to your next video.

Wow Andy! I thought I had seen all your content but there were 4 or 5 videos I had not yet seen. And with each new video I watch, there is a new tip that I can use immediately! Inspecting my patient, I discovered the hardware may be copper and watching this video, I think the wood may be teak! I will be taking a drawer to Lowes to confirm. Many of the issues you faced in this “fable”, are present on my project. Although there is more going on than I originally thought, I remain enthusiastic and energized as I prepare to start. Online orders have been placed. In the meantime, I will continue to rewatch your fables, with pen and notebook in hand!
