Damn James you did it again. I’ve waited for your Taycan video to watch your first insights on the car, which were great and the video was awesome. But this P1 GTR video, damn you knocked it out of the park for me in this one. Being Dutch, and knowing the owner by name and cars (and company too), makes it extra special. he has a shotgun mic which is made to be used wherever the mic is pointing and try to lower other sound out the way

With a Chiron you know you have 1500Bhp at your disposal and a tonnes of mass to keep the thing planted, but this is just air and power

@@sigurdrrmyr6299 you can't because nobody actually owns them. You pay money to Ferrari to drive it. They keep it until you next drive it. It never leaves Ferrari possession. Essentially you are re to g it to race it then you give it back till next time.

@@wesammansour1486 The P1 LM is: - Rarer (only 5 + 1 prototype were made) - More powerful (it has the 4.0 L V8 engine instead of the previous 3.8 L V8 of P1 and P1 GTR. As a consequence, P1 LM exceeds 1010 PS of power and has 1050 Nm of torque) - 60 kg lighter than the P1 GTR, thanks to titanium bolts, new wheels, Inconel exhaust etc... - Fitted with larger tyres both at the rear and at the front compared to the P1 GTR - Fitted with a much larger rear wing and front splitter compared to the P1 GTR. As a consequence, it has 40% more downforce than the P1 GTR. Overall, the LM is a whole tier above the GTR.

That's actually pretty crazy if that's true. The sheer combination of events you witnessed probably will never be seen again. A parked P1 GTR alone is remarkable. Seeing one being driven, even more so. To see one on the Autobahn going all out is a true rarity indeed!

Its because Mclaren and specialized had a partnership special s-works tarmac where mclaren made the frame and painted it that partnership is now over.

I came to this video because I just got a fanatec wheel setup with Assetto Corsa, and I'm hooning this very car around the nordschleife as I write(well, not quite 'as I write', but between sentences let's say). And I wanted to check if the engine notes are accurate...and tbf, they really are. That constant turbo hiss is perfectly captured. It's the most fun of any of the hypercars in the game, and all it is is digital information. I'd imagine the real thing is...pretty much the most fun you can have on a road.

Possibly one of the most beautiful cars ever built, with the performance to match! I have many cool toys, but sadly I unfortunately don't ever see myself owning one of these dreamy P1 GTR's, unless I was content to sleep in it... but F-me I'd love to own one! Thanks for coving this car.
