This was a horrible performance

The imperfections made the performance so beautifully vulnerable and human.

This girl is just radiant!!! Love the rawness and little perfect imperfections, her voice is distinctive and seductive. Her story is also very inspiring and I just keep thinking of how proud her mama is of her beautiful and talented daughter!

She's such a sweet person and I've wanted to love her voice but just when it starts sounding good it goes off. That huskiness should be warm like whisky but to me it sounds rough like the throat can't handle the whisky. Good luck to her.

It wasn’t her best but she’s still a powerhouse fav.

I love her tone and technically she didn’t do bad with this song, but I didn’t think the song choice didn’t do her favors overall nor will it be a rememberable performance. I feel this one was an overall miss.

Wrong song choice and the loud music totally cover up her voice.

There's a breathy quality that really works on certain songs and this is not that song and her voice was a bit all over the place. She's still very likely to be a top 5 artist but this was not her best performance.

She's purty.

Tonights performance (4/28/24) I feel the background music is too loud. It was hard to hear your beautiful voice at the beginning.

who on earth picked this song for her...I love her, she is awesome but this was not good and I have to believe that someone on the show(producer perhaps) chooses songs for the contestants ..and maybe they don't pick ones that will make a voice shine if they don't want that person to win. I have thought that for sooo long and it is why I quit watching AI for years.....McKenna made me want to watch again but I will quit if this crap continues .

I think they give them a list of say, 20-25 songs, and then the contestants choose the songs themselves. This is what probably stood out for her upon seeing that list.

Ugh. Her worst performance. Wrong song. I’m glad she made it through but she was not good here.
