I’m a light geek. I own all the lights, Cloud Defense , Streamlight, Modlight , Surefire and experiment with them on calls. My favorite overall is the MCH HC . It does better for me for vehicles, tree lines and large warehouses. I carry two on my belt when I’m in uniform. The MCH HC and Modlite PHL-V2.

Living on a farm, I chose the HC and it's the perfect light. Dogs go barking, can spot the armadillo or coyote or whatever out in the field. We use it so much, the wife said she wants one of her own. I'll have to oblige her wishes lol.

I did the exact same thing. Moved to a farm and within a week I went online and bought the HC to reach around my 15 acres. Love it. Will be buying more.

Well, I was the surefire guy for well over 10/15 years and in the last video MCH DUTY WELL I ORDERED ONE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU EVEN SET IT WITH THE CHARGER AND 3 DIFFERENT TYPES OF BUTTEN CONFIGURATION. I HAD NO IDEA. BUT THE FULL SEND WAS WHEN I WENT IN THE DARK BACK 30 ACRES WHERE I LIVE AND FIRED THAT THING UP WOW OFF THE HOOK. SO GOOD BUY SF IT WAS A LONG RELATIONSHIP 💔BUT YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHEN ITS OVER AND ITS OVER! LOVE YOUR PRODUCTS!😍

So i should share my story. I've had a hc edc and duty. Every model flickered. Multiple tail caps later 2 months after the new tail cap things would flicker. Being a flashlight enthusiast I had sure the battery ends were clean and body and tail cap tight. My last straw with your company was when I was on a night shift clearing a house while on duty. I deployed my mch duty and boom a low light flicker. I had to fart around for 5 minutes in a dark house to get my flashlight to work properly. Back up shows up 5 minutes later and their Chinese fenix olights and streamlights worked without fail. I was very pumped to be part of the cloud family. But after months of issues and tail caps failing there's a bigger design flaw going on there. My call while on work was the last straw. After bragging up my brand new cloud to co workers the laughing was embarrassing af. You can tell this to Sean because you guys have to seriously look into your products

I’ve read about quite a few instances of the flickering, and the fact that they didn’t even respond to your comment is concerning. I have an early Rein that’s been great, and I’ve been waiting to see if they would resolve the problem with the MCH, but apparently not.

@Pressurant i contacted them all the time. All they did was send out a new tail cap. Then the issue would start a month later. Did you read my write up? I was constantly emailing and them sending out 4 to 6 new tail caps. That was their solution

@@subaruforester5062 Copy that. That is quite like surefire did when many LX2 had broken clips, sending out new parts. However, flickering is a much more severe issue than brken clips, they should repalce the whole light or at least fix it, making sure the problem is absolutely eliminated. By the way, 4-6 tail caps for each email is hilarious, you must have had a pile of those.

@Pressurant yeah. I tried to give them a chance but whete I draw the line is when I'm on a call and I need the light to work. I was annoyed I had to rely on the light that whole day when at work too. Untill I went home and got my fenix lights

Been keeping track of CD since the owl came out and I finally pulled the trigger on a couple. Have a mch df edc and rein 3.0 out for delivery today and I’m pretty stoked to try them out.

The only problem I have with the MCH (kinda nitpicking) is that the body doesn’t have any texture to aid in gripping the light. I understand completely that it was designed to be pocket carried and the slick body helps prevent snagging on pockets etc… but I would at least like the option of some kind of texture on the body of the light because at work if I get oil or something on my hands it gets a little slippery for my liking. Even with that I still love the lights and I think the overall design is hands down the best on the market right now.

You can toss a mini ranger band on it and it will probably give you what you're looking for, texture wise.

Bought one for my Son-in-law for Christmas, after he charged the battery and we tested it , I went and bought one for myself the next day.

I now have the Chicro, great admin light, the duty and as of today, the MCH DF HC, I think I have all my bases covered. Awesome light, awesome performance. 👍👍

I own and use the EDC for duty. If the the "Duty" was available at the time, I may have picked it instead, but I'm still very satisfied with my current light. That being said, even the EDC is built like a tank (a much smaller tank than the Duty, but still a tank none the less). If the "Duty" is a beefed up version of the EDC, maybe there will be beefier version of the HC in the future?? A little extra lumens? A few thousand more candela? and a much more aggressive/offensive exterior design??? I'll be holding out for the prospect of that light in the future.

Im used to big lights I have been a surefire fan boy for years and a collector as well. as of yesterday i got my first mch duty ho df on the way as well as a chicro for my wife i got the duty for edc because i am very rough on equipment and i like that i can service the lens myself

Got mch-hc df. It's not perfect, but close. MCH is the ONLY 🇺🇸 tactical flashlight in the market with 1) high candela 2) WML class durability 3) dual fuel capability and 4) programmable mode groups. Especially those programmability is the killer feature for EDC use. That being said, I hope next gen MCH to have 1) sustained output in high mode e.g. REIN 3.0 and 2) replaceable bezel/optic. Dropped my MCH a few times, and it seems to get dings on bezel more easily than other flashlights I've used.

Great. Now I need all of them.

Just ordered the EDC and the Duty 🤙🏾

I bought a duty just cause anyway. Learned it's not the best pocket light as y'all mentioned, possible but don't attempt to hold it after a long use. I'll likely just have multiple anyway 😂.

I like the duty. Even if it’s too big and bulges out my pocket then it just added another unintended benefit 😉.

I couldn't decide. So I decided to stop being poor and ordered one of each, including the Chicro.

If the duty had come out at the same time as the DF mch I probably would've gotten it. But since I have a DF HC I'm not getting the duty. HC for win with the battery life, also having more candela is always nice

If I can edc a shadow systems xr920 with an extra mag I’ll go with the duty and take an hc for my lightweight system

@@johndunbar2393 I mean I guess I/we can continue buying Surefire and Streamlight. No shortages there, now LAPG, Holosun and many other are coming out with pistol lights as well. I guess as a customer and someone wanting to give CD my hard earned money, I thought asking them for a little update on the process of the EPL would be acceptable? Even if it’s another year off, marketing wise, to get our company message to all my customers I would want the info to be out there and updated. But I guess that’s just how I run my business. Isn’t America beautiful 🤘

What I’d love to see from CD is: better availability (lots of OOS items on the site 24/7), lower prices on the Rein 2 and Rein 1, pistol lights that crush the X300 Turbo while fitting X300 holsters.

Thanks for the feedback. All of our flagship products have been in stock for quite some time now. The REIN is very competitively priced. It's priced lower than other lights in it's class and it has better performance than all of them. We're working on the pistol light :)

Love the video, but the warranty might be better on surefire, I rather it not fail but I also don’t want to be out a couple hundred dollars, i trying to decide between cloud defense, modlite and surefire I will go with with who has the best warranty.

So the dual fuel HC is 80,000 candela but the 18650 only HC is 71,000? And the 71,000 one is also the one that came on the rein 2, correct?

Yes sir. If you have any of our programmable MCH lights they can all be set to the following: Mode 1: High-only (100%) Mode 2: Low (10%), High (100%) Mode 3: High (100%), Low (10%) Mode 4: Very Low (5%), Medium (30%), High (100%) Mode 5: High (100%), Medium (30%), Very Low (5%)

Anyone know what that holster is on the belt?

MCH HC is my duty light, MCH DF is my EDC.

HC is clutch for pushing past mixed lighting conditions (photonic barriers) and dark window tint.

Not for almost $300 after taxes. No wonder they don’t mention pricing in this video.

hard chpice for me between hc and edc

I’d like to see a no shits given big light with a massive rechargeable battery. Something that competes with the Maglite LEDs. Those guys have a flashlight with a battery that will last WEEKSs on the lowest setting. It’s not always about having the highest amount of output. I think battery life takes priority over massive output.

Soooo how does it stand up to the Nitecore P20ix? Cause its 4k lumen with glass breakers, tactical mode, strobe mode and edc mode. I would really like to know cause i heard great things about your company.
