i think i’d rather have ugbo if i had to pick between the two. ugbo is proven in this league, mcguire could find it difficult, as the step up from american leagues to championship is massive

I live in Orlando (OCSC is my second team) and I think Maguire needs to become a priority for Wednesday. He's only 23 and I think under Danny he could become something special

The problem with Maguire is that this has been built up so much for so long, I suspect the move might not live up to expectations if it goes ahead. Ugbo is a (very good) known quantity in the side.

I agree mate but we have to see what out there and he was a genuine target in Jan and they still want to look at it ugbo no idea what there club is going to ask of as fee if they have a fire sale

I’m glad we’re getting squad age down and I wouldn’t mind McGuire, my only gripe is the fact we were a second choice to him, so you hope if he comes he’s going to put full commitment into the club… Obviously I want Ugbo in first BUT I’d take McGuire as well as long he’s fully focused on us!

Still not convinced by Maguire. The MSL is totally different to the top two English divisions, which is why a lot of players go to the US at the end of their careers, rather than at their peak. Many players from the US seems to be overhyped. I don't know, I'm just not convinced. Also, who is it that wanted Maguire? Danny or Chansiri?

Ugbo is proven in Danny's system. McGuire isn't. That factors into who gets a contract.
