Palm trees aren't actually trees, they're more closely related to grass.

I'm born and raised in Germany. Yes is Ja lol. Anyway Southwest Florida looks like where a lot of retires call it home. Very slow going. We visited most cities in Central and South Florida. I'm interested in Jacksonville. A lot more forest , oak trees and it isn't about just palm trees and T Shirt shops. Coming from a major city in Texas we're used to crime . There're good and bad parts in every major city. Ft Myers would be too small for us and I don't see much of industrial areas . Are there many good paying full time jobs in Southwest Florida ?

No jobs here are bad. Better jobs in other larger cities. Very little industry expect tourism which is only during some parts of the year. In that regard texas is ahead by far.

Kewl guys and to think I just did that drive back in april going to Sanibel and captiva for the day had to buy a leeway pass when I got into sanibel it cost me $12,00 to go over the causeway with no pass the massacheezits license plates wont get me outta paying lol had a great time!!
