My parents lived in the Riviera tower since it was first built. They just moved to Alva a few months ago. My heart goes out to all of you.

We've been to Fort Myers for a Basketball Tournament a few years ago but never walked downtown. Thanks for the tour. Just came across your channel. Subscribers #912!

We made the move from Naples fl in July 21 - just one ☝️ year ago now.. to and area called palm Lee park just in between historic mcgregor avenue and us41 ( we can walk to almost everything including the Edison Mall) there’s a golf course within walking distance a public pool ( 2 actually 1 has slides and a very nice childrens playground/dog park where they do free movies on the lawn and hire food trucks to cater) and we LOVE ❤️ IT HERE NmBy far it’s been the best decision we’ve ever made. The location and size of our home here would have been untouchable for us had we stayed in Naples and aside from the drive to work we can’t think of any downside.

Nice sights and sounds of Fort Myers Florida, I can spot the signature palm trees.. Nice weather out there, perfect for a winter escape if you are on the freezing east coast.

1:50 The one you're in front of is the original location btw (hence why it's allowed; downtown Fort Myers doesn't allow most chain brands, one of the few exceptions is Starbucks)

The comments about it feeling old and new are on point and big and small It's the perfect size, also if you recall or rewatch George Romero's cult classic Day of The Day which was filmed on the very streets you walked with the very same buildings looking the same the theater and the rest It's an awesome downtown. And we have art walks and car shows music walks every month, I love it
