Mcfarlane toys is my favorite line I collect. They feel more premium in hand than the others. The lack of articulation is a myth. I do toy photography and I can get 90% of them in Spiderman poses.

I’ve been slowly picking up more and more McFarlane as he has been putting out more and more classic comic book looking figures. I’m happy with my decision to support this line early on as it is paying off now.Darksied is a work of art.

When I really started reading comics, that was the Justice League. Of course, Superfriends had me key on the "true" Justice League, but I didn't have any preconceived notion that they weren't cool when I started. :-)

The parasite is needed and a classic Shazam. And a classic Swamp thing. And a classic deadshot😂

Jace and I had a pretty complete Super Powers line!

McFarlane is subtly remaking the Kenner Total Justice line (sans “fractal armor”), so I’m pretty sure that’s the costume he’s going to go with for Huntress….which, I believe, is also the costume she wore in the expanded Morrison JLA.

Those are some cool rumors and reveals. I'm still getting some McFarlane figures for now. I've been on the fence with them a few times in the past, but for the last year or so, they've really been stepping things up. But my frustration is growing with some of the pricing shenanigans, exclusives and pre-order sell-outs. I don't know if I'll ever find classic Wonder Woman at a decent price. I'm hoping electric Superman (blue and red) aren't going to be impossible to find forever. If Darkseid is a pain to get, I might be out. I was never into pre-ordering before the pandemic and I've been trying to slow down on it. It is very frustrating trying to keep up with some of these brands. We shouldn't have to scramble to pre-order a regular release from a major manufacturer.

I think DS is gonna be available from the usual suspects like EE and BBTS so I think we "should" be OK. If Amazon is in the mix there's an even better chance we'll all be able to get our crack at him. I'm looking out for you for Electric Supes!

@@LylesFigureFiles I know you are, and I appreciate it. I'm just in a mood lately. I'm tired of the pre-order game. I missed DS twice today due to work. When I tried to get him he was sold out everywhere except McFarlane Toys. That was my last resort, due to the shipping cost. I went to check out and he sold out before I could finish. This was about 18 minutes after the IG post saying it was live. I checked back around midday and Amazon had finally gone up and sold out. It's crazy. They really should just have a pre-order window... And figure out a metric for how many extra to make. That way, everyone who tries to get in early gets theirs and then there's a second oppotunity once they ship. But then again, why try to make all the money when you can make a fraction?

Ive avoided this line for a number of reasons, I may consider getting one or two if the Darkseid comes out well and if they do a good Despero

The Darkseid Mega Fig looks good. He looks beefy like Darkseid is supposed to look. I personally don't like for him to come with the cape. But that just my opinion. I'm pretty sure most people like the cape. Yes there needs to be more of Darkseid's children. Orion and Grayven the sons of Darkseid as Mega Figs. I like the Kalibak that I brought as a Mega Fig. Granny Goodness, Big Barda I would like to see. Todd I believe is doing a wonderful job on these 7" figures and Mega Figs. I'm pretty sure that he has more up his sleeve than meets the eye. Yes I would like to see High Father. But there are 2 individuals that nobody seems to mention. And I guess is because some people may think that Todd might not never make these two. But I hope he does. First I would like to see Todd make Yuga Khan, the father of Darkseid. Now I would like to see Yuga Khan as a Mega Fig. A 12" tall Mega Fig. And what I really like to see is Grail, the daughter of Darkseid. Now Grail really needs to make out there as a DC MULTIVERSE 7 inch action figure. And that's with accessories. As well as her having her cape. She needs to look just like she does in the comics.

I could see him doing Grail. And she's make for a pretty cool looking figure too. I wonder if Todd would go deep enough into the New Gods to do Graveyn? That figure would look awesome thanks to his fun design though.

If McFarlane fixed the movement range of their figures hip to abdomen section, I think they’d easily be in the top figures. I’ve only got about 5 or 6 figures of the line but they’ve been pretty fun and great figures. The 7 in scale isn’t that big of a deal and I don’t get why people throw fits over it. Neca pretty much does 7in and I’ve never seen any one throw fits over them

You're dead on. I think it's more that people want their DC and Marvel Legends figures to battle each other. I don't think that's a reason to knock Todd though. I saw someone I'm totally blanking on now do some dremel work to the Knightfall Nightwing and it was able to hit all kinds of cool poses.

I wouldn't mind having Ladonna and Troy either especially if she looks like in what's in the picture my my

I started collecting Mcfarlane in 2021 first one I bought was Bizarro man I fell in love with the detail like damn, but 2020 -2022 you can see the small changes but in 2023-2024 Todd stepped up like Crack now I have like 180 figures from him since

I only said BAF to get Elongated Man with some stretchy effects like Plastic Man. I'd be happy to get them however he released them.

I've backed off a bit on my collecting, being more selective on what i buy and how much I spend. Especially with DC Multiverse, I'm just over these chase figures being impossible to get and I'm not going to pay $80-$100+ for a $22 figure because I can't make daily runs to every target, GameStop and Walmart in Charlotte and surrounding cities like a scalper, its ridiculous and so frustrating not to mention unnecessary to limit production on the most sought after figures in the line. It makes me wanna sell my collection and buy all mafex and sh figuarts instead.

I think you may have messed up but maybe I'm wrong educate me if I am. But you were talking about the 52 Justice League basically. You don't even have a 52 Superman or a 52 Aquaman. Or a 52 Green Lantern. I see a lot of rebirth and a couple 52 figures but not the main characters

You're right on Aquaman. Superman had that Rebirth suit just long enough for me to forget that wasn't during the New 52 era. I think the Hal two-pack is fairly New 52-ish from Todd's early days with these outfits: goto.target.com/B0vWE1

Please I hope you're not thinking I'm trying to argue or trying to prove a point. I'm just simply talking to another fellow collector about figures that we like and I just happen to really love the 52 cuz that's when I really was all in on DC because they were going to promise a new direction and not going to redo the books even though they ended up doing it anyways and that's why I gave up on DC after that. But I went and looked up the Hal Jordan 52 is completely different from the versions that we've gotten from Todd so far in fact I hope they he makes a 52 version because that was a sweet outfit. Same as I hope Superman 52 Aquaman 52 Superboy 52 Supergirl 52 also get made but again it's just because I love 52 even the 52 Wonder woman was a great design.

I largely zoned out of DC with the New 52 but REALLY came back all into it with the Rebirth era ironically since that's when you dropped out. I did like the Wonder Woman design. Did you get the DC Icons versions of the New 52 looks?

@@LylesFigureFiles no I did not actually the only one that I was able to get was Aquaman and the only reason I picked one of him up because I was going to switch the heads but sadly their heads are too small for a McFarland body. But that's okay I was able to pick up a resin 52 Aquaman head from eBay I've yet to completely put together but I will do it sometime I will make a video of it
