@@Ibrahim_M thank you - I am very new to modeling, I might have to ease into it before doing something so complex. Age 54, almost died, almost became a quadriplegic… midlife crisis ensued…Doctor said to take it easy… so I found myself collecting McFarlane Batman and very light painting,modeling. You’re at a much further stage on this than me. I don’t dare do anything like what you did.

I’m pretty sure you could also consider a pair of seats from an RC crawler.

Those are all too big, unfortunately. I did a lot of checking of different RC options before landing on these. The cockpit is pretty small and the scale of the car is 1/12, and crawlers are all 1/10

Thanks! It’s a bit much to explain here, but it’s all covered in the process video that I’ll be posting on the next week or so when I get this thing all finished. But the console isn’t lit currently, just painted! There will be one lighted area though in the center where I’ll be using LED lights.

Hi I have a question do you remember what size are the seats on your McFarlands 89 Batmobile was it 1/12 or 1/16 scale there’s a guy on eBay out of Texas that makes the recaro seats.

I honestly can’t remember. But, I was less concerned about the scale and more about the measurements. Because they can be 1/12 like the car, but still not fit because the cockpit on this car is not to scale since it’s only made for one seat. So measure the cockpit and check with the seller for dimensions- that’s how I ended up doing it. Hope they’re the right fit! The accurate seats would look amazing.

How do u get the canopy off i cant and am afraid i am going to break it

It comes out nice and easy! You have to unscrew the bottom of the car from the top, and then there’s a little box that holds the cockpit in place, and that’s also what holds the canopy rails in a little track. Another 3 screws to remove that and the canopy will pop right out. You can check out part 1 of my full build video to see the inside and what I’m talking about.

Thanks for asking. I wouldn't be able to; to customize on this level I'd have to charge a lot, and for what it would cost in labor/time someone could just buy the new re-release of the Hot Toys 89 Batmobile, haha. That and I do this for fun, and try to do something new for my channel every couple of weeks, so I wouldn't want to turn my hobby into a second job and not post anything new on here. But I appreciate the inquiry!

I don't-- I just made the one for my own collection, but I have a full process video on how I made it on my channel! It's actually not very difficult and it's pretty fun to do!
