hey again I was wondering something you said you don't do requests/commissions but would you be willing to help me out with making a head just for fun the head i wish for you to make is of me would you be willing to make a 1/12 custom head for not as a request or commission just as help I'm not good at sculpting and i'm new to figure making
also if you need references of me let me know
Hello! That is actually the same thing as a request, so no, sorry man. I don’t make sculpts or figures for anyone for any reason- I don’t have the time and it’s not fun for me. If you want a sculpt of yourself though there’s a thing you can do with Hasbro pulse where you can make a figure of yourself. I don’t know what it’s called and that’s all the information that I have on it, so you’ll have to google it for more info. Good luck!
You should paint the wheels as well. But great work!
I did- it’s in the video! But thanks!
Excelente
Thank you!
Great work man!
Thank you ver much! 🙌🏼
dang it there so cool wish I had one of these figures? not sure i'd ever be able to make something like this super cool Ibrahim Moustafa My Birthday is coming up on the 11th of july and anyways not sure how you'd feel about something like this would you be willing to do a collab build with me on a figure
Thanks man! Sorry, I don't do commissions/requests (and these were so hard I never want to put myself through that again, lol), but I appreciate you checking these out, and happy early birthday!
@@Ibrahim_M well thanks anyways
3rd time watching. Very impressive!May I ask where you bought the LED light kit?
Much, much appreciated! evandesigns.com/ -- they have a ton of options and very helpful customer service!
Take my money ! and give me that action figure
😂😂🙌🏼🙌🏼
Just subscribed‼️🤙🦇 I got a custom BTAS 1/12 figure coming in this week by Tony Mei
Welcome to the channel! Those Tony Mei versions are incredible- congrats!
Looks great! You did a hell of a job!
Thank you very much! I appreciate you checking it out!
Awesome. Is that the Mezco Batman figure?
Thank you! Yes! The one:12 89 Batman
Can we get a dean winchester head for a mezco sized Winchester and impala? Heh
I actually have one, haha. I think I know of an Impala, too. But I’ve never seen an episode of that show, one of these days I’ll sit down and give it a try.
What brand is that? Manipple? The mezco looks bad compared as soon as u side by side them
Yep, Manipple
Out of the zsjl mezco 3 pack I think the flash was the best out of the box via fine as is and looks like a little Ezra, need to lock him up at night so he doesn’t steal my sh!t
Yeah I agree, I really like that figure.
Love your build. Just came across the video when looking for parts for my KITT toy. If you decide to sell it, let me know.
Thanks very much!
I just ordered the body only since it was on sale. Do you know what heads will pop on?
Other than the head that is designed for it, The Mezco Cavill Superman heads are the only ones that will pop right on. A McFarlane Cavill Superman head might fit, but you’d likely have to hollow it out a bit to fit onto the ball peg.
Sir what is that kit?
I don’t understand the question, my friend
where did you get the backdrop from?
I had it printed up from an image I found online
This was genuis.👏🔥
Thank you so much!
Magnetized stand/feet, that sounds interesting.
Yeah there’s a premium 1/6 company, InArt that does that, and recently Muff Toys did it with their 1/12 James Bond. I’ve even done it a couple of times on figures that have balance issues. I’m surprised more companies don’t make them.
Hi Ibrahim, glad you got yours,& another great mod, need to ask as i mentioned to you,was there any issues with the neck length?,it doesn't look like there were for you,by the sound of it you bought your head sculpt around the same time as mine?
Hey Paul! Thanks my friend. Yeah, no issues thankfully! I remembered what you said and was keeping it in mind with the figure but I found it to look proportionately correct. I should look up when I bought the head because apparently there were two different batches.
I need the head sculpts can’t believe I missed out on it, anyone know where to get one? Only aftermarket from what I can see. But amazing figure!!
I think they’re going to re-release the head on sites like onesixthkit and VCtoysbox. It’ll probably be a preorder so it may take a while to make them- Manipple is usually pretty slow from announcement/preorder to production
A wonderful figure and customisation mate. The figure is a great one but my only niggle is that the manufacturer made the belt a little too low and the buckle sits right above the crotch. 😳 Whilst watching the video it made me wonder if any of the manufacturers ever reach out to you and comment on the changes you make to their figures and vehicles. You are making these great improvements and I wondered if any of these companies ever get in touch to give you their thoughts. Thanks for your time and efforts mate and all the best. Rod 👍
Thanks so much, Rod! Haha, I noticed the belt/crotch issue while I was painting and I forgot to mention it! Not a dealbreaker but definitely a funny oversight. No official companies have reached out, but I know I was an influence on the 3rd party company who made a replacement canopy, guns, and gas caps for the McFarlane 89 Batmobile. I also saw that after I customized my initial Turtle Van about 4 years ago, NECA got hold of the same van to use for the official photos of their April O'neal release, and it was such a unique idea and approach I had that I would bet money they saw what I did and copied it. And this is a bit different, but very recently an "Old Man Logan" Wolverine figure from SooSoo Toys used some of my official comic book art as inspiration for an accessory that came with their figure. Thanks Rod, as always!
Very cheeky that companies would take any ideas and improvements you have created and use it as if it’s their own. It suddenly dawned on me if any companies like Neca or McFarlane would have got wind of your improvements and reached out to offer their opinion. No law on adapting and improving their products I would imagine and when it’s for your own pleasure and that of your subscribers. The belt/crotch thing with the figure doesn’t denigrate the figure or indeed your efforts in any way. I always love to see the improvements you make and look forward to see what you do next. Best regards mate, Rod 👍
@@LEXINGTONSMYTHE Thank you, as always, Rod! It's a funny thing, I don't begrudge anyone taking inspiration (a big part of why I have this channel is to hopefully inspire creativity in other people!), but when it's a company, it's a little annoying, lol. I appreciate you, my friend!
Hey,What a cool superman you got there specially love the happy supes, which is something I always hated about Snyder,no happy confident supes, great job as usual, had been lost for a while from your posts very busy and also a little bit sad you don't have X account anymore but always pending on your work Greetings from Mexico and keep your head on swivel!!!
Thank you, Carlos!!! I'm glad you enjoy a happier Superman as well! Yeah, I had to say goodby to X, it just wasn't useful anymore, but I'm on bluesky and Instagram if you're on there! All the best to you my friend!
Fantastic work, man!! I think you'll be really pleased with the Valhalla Customs cape 😁🤙
Thank you, man! I really appreciate the recommendation on that! I can't wait to get it.
Great figure from Manipple, also I loved your effort on that fantastic headsculpt. I am still looking for getting that SHF Superman close to retail :D
Thanks very much! Are you located in the US?
bloody amazing mate thanks for sharing
Thank you so much! I appreciate you watching this!
Man great review… I keep mine in set poses as well only changing them up every now and then. I also like how you subtly dry brushed the silver over the suit, but it still really stands out. I’ll be working on mine this week. I made a temporary wired cape that looks pretty nice while I wait for mine from Valhalla to come in. And that’s a beautiful display. Killer Crock and Hawkman are really nice.
Thank you, sir! I really wanted the dry brushing to scale with the figure- it’s very easy to overdue a paint app and make it look too pronounced for the size, so I really appreciate you nothing that. Got your video cued up for tomorrow while I draw comics pages!
The manipple also making the batman from bvs, what do you think? Also you did great review on this one👍
Thank you! I have a mezco BVS Batman that I customized (you can see it here on my channel) and I was just going to keep that one, but after getting this figure I am definitely ordering the Manipple Batman when it’s available, haha
This looks absolutely brilliant! Well done sir! Much needed extra detailing. Now I’m considering getting one!
Thanks so much, Justin! Big fan of your channel and I very much appreciate the kind words. If you get one I hope you enjoy it! 🙌🏼
@@Ibrahim_MHello. What if you put the Henry Cavill HS Mafex size, Does it work ?
@@Poupipoupi-bw2bl I can't say for sure because I don't have the Mafex figure, but I can tell you with a certainty that you'd have to hollow out the peg hole on the Mafex head to get it to fit on this body. The skin tones also would not match.
Just an FYI manipple released 2 different similar Cavil heads 1.0 and 2.0. They both look similar. I think most have the 1.0 . The one this body is meant for is the 2.0 head as u have there. I think that's why sum look funky as they say by the neck with the 1.0
Yeah I think the 1.0 was a shrink if the BVS Hot toys head, right? I’ve always hated that sculpt. Lol.
@Ibrahim_M looking at in hand rn ,the chin and cheek bones are less defined and hair parted to the right.
Great work, bro! I just preordered Cyn on Amazon! I got some graphic novel stories I've been sitting on for a good minute, so this is definitely inspiring. Maniple outdid themselves on this Superman. Wow! I really hope they do a Man of Steel version!
Yooooooo thank you so much, man!! I really, really appreciate that and I hope you enjoy it. Here’s hoping you let some of those ideas out from under you! It’s a helluva lot of work but it’s a lot of fun 🙌🏼 A Manipple MOS version would be incredible! I thought about ordering another to make one out of, lol.
@@Ibrahim_MHi, The Henry Cavill Manipple HS you have is for Mafex size or Mezco size ?
great work my dude!
Thanks brother!
Another great video of your amazing work, love it! One thing that bothers me about Mezco's, aside from their sometimes huge heads, is the stature. I feel some are too short. Any easy "fix" you can recommend? I'll probably try and make me Manipple Superman a bit taller also, once I receive it.
Thank you very much! Yeah, it’s tough because not all of them use interchangeable parts, so often times making them taller just isn’t possible unless you do a complete body swap, and that can mean that other parts of it don’t fit.
Amazing bro
Thank you so much!
Hey Ibrahim, where have you been hiding these?! 😅 love the Wolverine,& the sculpt is really good, found on ebay i'm guessing?,first half of Days of future past, loved that look, waiting for the NW toys release of this & the later leather jacket look, plus your Colossus is really good, apart from Marvel legends we've never really had one from the third party companies...yet!,was so hoping for a Professor X from Mezco, hopefully someone will make him in 1/12th scale, nice set up! 👍🏽 Btw, Cyclops & Magneto are well done too!
Thank you, Paul! I did a video on these way back when-- one of my first! Yes, the Logan sculpt was from a guy called ActionFigureCustoms who unfortunately no longer sells sculpts, but he was an early pioneer of it-- he would shrink hot toys heads to 1/12 scale. That Logan might be one of the best paint jobs I've ever done on a figure, haha. I'm excited for more 3rd party X-men as well!
Dang it, now you made me buy one of the Gold Label versions off Amazon! lol. Decided if I'm going to bother to add electronics and sound to an 89, I might as well go big. I guess the Jada 1/18 I was working on is just paint only now. have you ever used a soldering iron to melt through plastic opposed to drilling holes or using a knife? I've done that sometimes if the plastic is going to be really tough to cut.
Haha, you will not be disappointed! This custom job did make me contemplate buying a hot knife for that sort of thing. I have a heated scribe tool, but I was concerned about melting the plastic in a way that warps it, so I opted to just go for what I know in terms of tools, haha/ Thanks so much for checking these out, and have fun with your build!!
@@Ibrahim_M No problem, you're really an ace improvisor. I just couldn't do all the pieces you work on, I have too many other hobbies and various gadgets already (like an entire recording studio). This is about as far as I'm going into your realm....lol
@@Ibrahim_M Ugg, unfortunately I was disappointed. I bought this off Amazon Warehouse and it just arrived. Someone stole the figure and then returned it to Amazon which they didn't check and didn't describe in the listing. Warning: Be careful of buying stuff like this from Amazon Warehouse- you don't know what you will receive. Reminds me of another time I made a purchase for a USB charger from AW and instead received a part for a bicycle. Too bad, it really looked like a nice car but I didn't even bother to remove the plastic.
@@p.granger8824 Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that, man. That sucks. People are the worst. Hopefully they return it for you with no issues
Hey, that's a killer job man. It looks night and day better than the original. I just got one of those 1/18 scale Jada clone types and day-one, Of Course I'm going to disassemble the whole thing. The changes will be repainting the all-silver machine guns, thruster, tailpipes sidepiping etc. Fortunately, I didn't have to build the machine guns but I did have to carefully hollow out the ends of the solid barrels on these tiny guns. After paint (this is my first project), I'm going to add leds and a sound module which will play the sounds of machine guns firing, the turbine, shield operation or anything else I find that works. Mad scientists....
Thanks very much! Those 118 Jada versions are beautiful-- so much more challenging to work on that scale, my hat is off to you!
Nice! Good job on the customs. They look good!
Thanks so much, man! I appreciate it! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I honesty came to the same conclusion, i spent at least 5hrs editing a video and it only got 200 views lol im gonna just start uploading with no edits lol that’s why people seem to like anyway
Bro. YES. This KZread ish is wild. I basically scratch build a one-off turtle van: 2k views and some change. Someone repaints the new playmates version: 14k. It’s less editing and then I just stop posting them altogether to be honest. I don’t need the headache, lol.
@@Ibrahim_M I noticed that too, I see pages with more views than subs lol with no editing and basic thumbnails. It’s so wild out here
Hey love the content, working on making a custom jennika fig using a mezco tmnt. Can’t seem to find any pants that would fit the turtle body sculpt though. Are you aware of any?
Thanks very much! That's awesome-- Yes! I actually used a pair on my custom The Last Ronin turtle (kzread.info/dash/bejne/p6R1sLWiZMjTpLQ.html) Here's what I used: www.ebay.com/itm/363712761903?itmmeta=01J02G537G4EY3747ZNX9MPWW3&hash=item54aef8502f:g:TnQAAOSwpHth-s-c
Amazing! I really appreciate your creativeness and the inventive ways you work. You really nailed these characters, Bravo Ibrahim, and good luck with your new Graphic Novel. A fan from the UK
Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words! Made my day! I appreciate you checking this out!
He spared no expense 😆 these are awesome.
😂😂 I did not! And thank you very much!
Do the raptors have ab crunch, though?
😂😂😂 I think they kind of do, actually? Now I’m curious, lol.
Amazing customs. You need to upgrade your diorama with these two products: Rebor Winston Raptor and also Rebor Spring Heeled Raptor
Thanks! Those raptors are amazing but they’re too small. There 1/18 scale and these are 1/12.
@@Ibrahim_M really? I used to have Mattel raptors and I swear they were the same size side by side but it can be only my perception.
@@rodristrongest ah! So, Mattel made the Amber collection figures, which are in a 1/12 scale, then they made the Hammond Collection, which were identical, but smaller in a 1/18 scale, and those would work with those raptors, so that’s probably what you had? They’re the size of the old GI joe and vintage Star Wars figures.
@@Ibrahim_M oh! I can get it now. Thanks.
I threw up
😂😂
Spared no expense. Fantastic job!
😂😂 I did not! And thank you so much!
Very nice video even without the edits and awesome display.
Thank you, sir! This one went much faster so I’m hoping to keep trying this. It’ll be harder on the process videos, but I’ll burn that bridge when I get to it 😅
Niceeeee.❤🦇
Thank you!
@@Ibrahim_M can't wait to get ahold of your comic 💪
@@rickytoddbotelho9555 Thanks so much my friend! that really means the world to me 🙌
Thanks for the shout-out the boys loved it! After a discussion with the boys the verdict is in. Chael's favorites are Hell Boy aka the Vietnamese hat bamboo guy and the Crow. Trenton's favorite is all the Batman's and Creed aka the boxer man. Keep up the great work Ibrahim we love your videos.
Aw man, I’m so happy! And I love knowing which ones they like the best, haha. Thank you for sharing that with me! Much love to you brother!
I gotta order mine 🤙
Thank you so much my brother!!
