Honestly it's an interesting idea in concept, a happy meal for adults with collectable figures. Lots of people like collectables, and it's honestly filling a niche for tweens or teenagers. The thing is, like Reviewbrah said, it's just reselling items that're already on the menu for about $13 because it comes with a figure and a box with some cool designs on it.

It's not _that_ interesting of a concept. They started doing this a while ago with the celebrity named specific "meals". The only exception is the toy and unique box this time. For whatever reason these little gimmick meals have an appeal to certain easily amused people. Granted this is the most unique idea McDonalds has implemented so far (not saying much). I'd be surprised if there's any more than 3-4 different figures included in these meals.

@@AsphyxiaHeir that could be, but given that he didn’t even eat half the burger or touch the fries and had no soda, which is common with tv chefs spitting out their bites of amazing food when the camera pans away or there’s a cut. Although a Big Mac alone is 550 ca (according to McDonalds nutrition menu) and I know the cals given can certainly be higher given that not every employee is going to add the exact same amount of toppings. Half of 550 is 275, which is overestimating because he didn’t even eat half. So if all he is consuming is 275 cals, and we don’t know what his regular daily diet is, eating only 275 cal every so often will make no dent in their weight

The problem some people have is that some McDonald’s restaurants have stale dry food at hours of the day when you expect the food to be fresh. Your Big Mac there actually looks good/fresh.

For anyone who's interested: On Uber Eats for the McDonald's closest to me, the Cactus Plant Flea Market Meal is $10.89. The Big Mac Meal (which includes every food item the CPFM meal does) is $8.19 and the 10 Piece Nuggets Meal is $8.29. They're essentially charging you ~$2.50 more for a toy and a fancy box.

I've always wondered how Birdie's friendship with the Hamburglar would be affected if he gave up red meat and started eating chicken nuggets.

They brought back McDonaldLand characters, I’m so happy. The toys are hideous with the four eyes, but maybe this will encourage them to market those characters a bit more again. I was so sad when they got rid of them, I’m just so nostalgic for them.

The Birdie character was used originally by McDonald’s to sell their breakfast meals. It was the whole rise and shine early bird gets the worm kind of thing. She was a big goofy as a character. Can’t say I was unhappy to see her go originally lol.

"Birdy" was before your time. She was the mascot character created to introduce new breakfast items to the menu. Birdy "the early bird". She did fly. They used to have stories in their commercials so if I recall correctly one was about her learning to fly. She does wear goggles they are aviation goggles. They go with the flying motif.

i'm ngl that is the most depressing big mac i've ever seen, it looks like it was rushed out lol but these adult happy meals have been a real hit lmao. when we started selling them yesterday i was working at the window for our drive through and a girl who looked to be in her early 30's saw me start to hand the box to her and she got so happy and was like "i'm so excited for this i've been waiting impatiently for a week" never seen someone so genuinely excited for a happy meal not even kids.

For those of use that grew up with happy meals (70s and 80s), the McDonalds on the box looks accurate. For $11.50, I am not that nostalgic.

Just wanted to let everyone know, the actual term is "The Artist Box" but it is also known as an adult happy meal, bringing this up because the "cactus plant flea market" box/ meal isnt going to be the only line of toys and such for the adult happy meal, there will be others with different "artists" i wanted to bring this up since i myself am an employee at mickey d's, and personally think its cool to see this is only the start

@@TheKarebare123 lol "brand". Googling it brings up nothing but a super amateurish looking website that doesn't even say anything about the brand. No About page, no contact info, no credible info whatsoever, just a single page full of really weird clothes that honestly look counterfeit.

"This is...pause...TOY review"!!! The Adult Happy Meal gets a 2/10 but the food review is 11/10. One of my favorite food reviews to date! Sarcasm, top notch and the "flying" sound effects...true talent!😊

I'm 50, but excited about this :) never heard of cactus flea market. And who doesn't know McDonald's. Pair them up, genius. I want to collect the whole set!!! Anyone know when the promotion ends?

I have so much respect for this guy because even tho his channel isnt doing aswell he is just a nice guy and wears a suit every video just for a food review he clearly wants to entertain us but look good while doing it he looks like a honest and nice guy

When I saw “happy meal for adults” in the headlines, I never felt so patronized as an adult before in my life

This is the weirdest collaboration I've ever seen. A fast food company making a meal deal for a clothing company... and a less than mainstream one at that. I lost it when he revealed a toy came in the adult meal deal.

I'm so confused why they chose this random street wear company to team up with to make "collectible" toys. When they teamed up with Ty to make mini beanie babies, that was genius. I'm a fan of streetwear and unique clothes and I don't understand the connection between the mcdonalds characters with 4 eyes and the clothing website.

Yeah its very bizzare. I looked up this alleged designer brand and i just dont get it. Melting smiley faces? Mcdonalds characters with double eyes? Just weird. Now that you mention the ty beanie babies it makes me sad to realize this is the modern day equivalent. Gross.

This guy is so real and raw. It sounds almost silly to say such, because he doesn't cover any truly controversial topics, but he still is RAW. He buys the fast food himself, talks about the reputation of the chain and the menu item in question, and then he just fucking takes a few bites of it and tells you what he thinks. There is no pretension, no artificial manner of speech, no bragging, no flexing...there is absolutely NOTHING superficial to these reviews besides Mr. Review telling us EXACTLY what he thinks. These reviews are truly pure.
