Here's a commercial for those ubiquitous Ronald McDonald plastic (melamine) kids plates that everyone seemed to have in the late-seventies. Offer good now through November 19th 1978 or while supplies last.

Oh, my family had those. I ate many dinners off those plates. Good memories. Haven't seen those in many years.

I have one to this day. Looks almost new.
I have some of these along with some of the Hercules platesI forget where I got them I'm 29 but I know we got them from the garage sale or possibly a Goodwill but it's still pretty cool

0:06 You can really hear the depth of disappointment in that kid's voice. He'd asked for the radio-controlled R2-D2, but after dad drank away most of the money, there was only enough left for a Happy Birthday Big Mac and one of those shitty plastic plates.

Yes so many holidays my dad and my uncle's best friend were Jack Daniels, Jim Beam and everyone's favorite Johnny Walker... good times🤔😁
I don't remember ever having those, and I feel like we got all of the McDonald's tableware at the time.
