McDonald's - "Attempted Vehicular Burgercide" (Commercial, 1978)

Ойын-сауық

Here's an extra long, 60 second camping themed commercial for McDonald's Restaurants featuring Ronald McDonald, purported carefree clown, running over Big Mac, the policeman and only source of law and order in all of McDonaldland. Also features Grimace and the Hamburgler, who declined to get involved. And a sentient three-wheel ATV.
Note: Ted Cassidy supplied the Voice of Officer Big Mac. He’s best known for his portrayal of Lurch on TV’s The Addams Family. (thanks to Facebook group "Filming In McDonaldland" for the info)
This aired on local Atlanta TV (or via cable) in April of 1978.

I believe this was taped at Franklin Canyon Reservoir, just a few miles north of Beverly Hills. Many shows and TV commercials have been shot there including The Andy Griffith Show opening, the Brady Bunch camping episode and commercials for Frosted Flakes and Skippy peanut Butter (with Annette Funicello).

3 Wheelers were discontinued because they dangerous and easily flip over, more dangerous than motorcycles. That why we have 4 wheelers now.
