I worked for McDonald's when the Big Mac was introduced. One of my duties was to haul 50 lb. sacks of potatoes from the cellar and put them into a device that peeled them. We then ran them through a machine that cut them into the fry shape. We hung them in baskets for the next day's frying demands. In the mid '60s it was potatoes, heat, oil, and salt (and sweat.)

I don't know why but this is the 3rd video about McDonald's French fries that I encounter this week. The previous one was made by Ashens, the one before was dedicated to create a whole room in the theme of French Fries. I don't know why this is a current topic...

They had to stop using the beef tallow ( beef flavour) because of Halal, that’s why the fries here are different from the Original recipe from the USA

In Sweden they got in trouble for claiming in their commercial that their burger meat were 100% meat (only pepper on top). In tests it showed that they had loads of salt in their meat. It's illegal here to lie about ingredients in food.

One thing I’ve noticed is that if I want some McDonald’s french fries there better be some black people behind the counter making them because they season the fries correctly. If there’s a bunch of white people behind the counter making the fries then it’s no fries for me.
