McDonald's Employee FIRED for What They Did, Customer Gets Covid 5 Days Later

Ойын-сауық

A former Starbucks employee and former McDonald's employee reveal secret ways they punish rude customers.
Taco Bell had to explain what really happened with their shells. One employee at a Papa Murphy's put pizza in a place it doesn’t belong. And many other shocking employee behaviors have been caught.
We have the full kettle-and it’s about to spill.

It really isn't about the decaf, it's about the fact that he felt he was entitled to mess with someones order because he felt like it, and the fact that this same attitude is what gets people hurt. I have multiple issues with food and I'm terrified of ordering out in case someone thinks I look a certain way enough to mess with what I ordered. It's not okay in the slightest. "It's just decaf." Isn't the issue, their attitude on food handling is.

I have my own story, in 2019, I went to firehouse subs, it was shortly after my boyfriend was fired from there and I don't know what they did, but they thought my sandwich was his, they were laughing behind the counter and when they brought the food out and went to hand them my sandwich, I mentioned it was mine and her face changed and the next day I was in hospital for food poisoning. Then I was back the next t day to hospital and was admitted for about 2 weeks, was released and had a Dr appointment 2 days later. My Dr told me to go straight back to hospital and not to delay or take any stops. My Dr office was 4 blocks away from the hospital. Got to hospital and admitted again for about 2 weeks. I was in critical condition, my potassium was below 2. I almost didn't survive. Firehouse subs didn't care. I have all my hospital records from it.

Places near me will generally not take an order if it's close enough to closing time that it won't be ready until after closing time. As someone who used to work at Starbucks, a lot of coworkers did this (the decaf thing). I personally never did this and highly discouraged it because as someone who has chronic issues and looks deceivingly healthy, when I make a picky order there is a reason. I don’t know why someone orders decaf, soy, sugar free, heavy cream, whatever. I don’t know if it’s due to serious allergies, mild to moderate intolerance or simply just preference and it is not my place to make that judgement. Mine is based on all of the above and I could have explained all day but I shouldn’t have to and no one else should. We do deal with rude people all the time and it’s sucks across the board but instead of punishing them passive aggressively, I preferred to just get them out as quickly as possible. So maybe rush their order a bit. Still made to standard but don’t think I’m going out of my way for that non tip you never were going to leave anyways.

Once I went to a carnival so ofc I'd want hotdog. I asked the lady at the front if they sell them because there were alot more foods there. She said "yes we do!" I asked her the price and she didn't listen she was already making it. When she was done she showed it to me and said $10. (That is such a ridiculous price for one hotdog in my country). So I told her I didn't want it and proceeded to another booth to purchase something in my budget. The hotdog lady came to that very booth and took over my meal. Even handed it to me with a simile. I didn't think anything of it but later that day I had symptoms of food poisoning and was taken to the doctor. Yup turned out I was poisoned. We suspected the hotdog lady gave me food flies had walked on. I stayed in the hospital overnight on drips since I was constantly puking and excreting everything I ate. I see people in a different light now. Imagine giving a 13 yr old contaminated food joyfully. Getting them bedridden with a needle in their arm for hours in the freezing hospital. It makes my blood boil. I leave that woman to God.

I would think it would take more than flies to make you that sick. It had to be something else she did to your food. And btw, $10 for one hotdog is too much in any country. I'm glad you're okay. What a psycho, that woman.

Honestly I would’ve probably refused. 1 is obviously cuz I got trust issues. And 2 is cuz I’d feel too bad taking a hotdog and not paying for it. So yeah, my honor and trust issues would’ve definitely saved me. Be careful next time and don’t easily trust anyone, people can be crueler than the devil himself if they so choose to be...

Him saying there is no medical conditions that need coffee and then naming off how terrible regular coffee is. First of all he has no right to make medical decisions for others. Second of all decaf coffee can have bad side effects to0 Ex: Heart diseases, Acidity, Rheumatoid arthritis, Headaches, Slow nervous system, Fatigue, Nausea, Affects absorption of iron, and Pain. It's not good either so if he thinks he did any good by giving them decaf he is wrong. Just get people what they pay for it isn't that hard.

I agree you should never be rude to Anyone in customer service. But also you never know what someone is going through. The way he ran out the door, I'm sure he didn't appear as the most polite customer when he got there. But I'm grateful the barrista didn't decide to give him decaf. Caffeine is literally the most used substance to self medicate for ADHD and it works the same way the stuff you get prescribed would, prescription stimulants have less side effects, but even for those with a prescription it's easier to use Caffeine as a booster than to get instant release meds to be taken as needed approved on top of extended release meds.

As a Starbucks assistant store manager, I’m actually baffled for the former barista worker. I’ve met pretty rude customers but never in my life working have I ever thought of intending to tamper or missing up the drink because of a customer’s attitude/personality. The world is already corrupted enough with a lot of violence and sadness. Can we please just be nice to others? I understand if there is a lot of extremely rude people but we already have a lot happening right now. We need some good moments in our lives :) Hopefully anyone that sees this have a nice and beautiful day and don’t let rude people turn your day around! 🙃🙃

So......this may not necessarily be Starbucks but I will say.....I have a special drink. Just a caramel Frappe....with extra caramel. Nothing too too complicated. I always get it or order it whenever I have a very hard day. Some days the drink I get. Specifically that one is the only thing that makes it feel better. So it is sad. Sometimes the food or drinks we get and order can really affect someone's happiness. It is so true how it can turn a day around and it is sad that there are people like this who will for no reason tamper with a person's food and drinks. There is already too much negativity out in the world.

Pretty sure it goes both ways. Caffeine is a stimulant, helps you stay focused, but it also stimulates heart rate, which combined with heart disease can cause issues. It’s an instance of ‘picking your poison’ I could be wrong though, I’m not a cardiologist or expert in caffeine, just speaking from experience.
