It's so sad that MC Eiht had to quit before the game was finished, I can't imagine if Ryder keeps CJ's back all the way into the end of game, their relationship was so tight.

There’s no proof that Ryder’s voice actor quit it’s a myth spreaded by liar fans, even MC Eiht himself confirmed on a Twitter DM message to a fan who asked him about that he told him that’s all what they (Rockstar) wanted me to do so Ryder becoming a traitor has nothing to do with the voice actor it’s a decision made by developers.

The voice for Franklin is related to the voice of CJ. Voice for Trevor is an actor in a lot of stuff, but mostly known for GTA. But they also put celebrities in the game too. Not just voices, but the actual celebrities too. Especially Dre.

legend. From what I know, at least in animation film, the voice will be recorded first. And then the animators will fit the action to the audio. It's easier that way since the acting in voice acting will help animators visualize what they're doing and the voice actors don't have to try to fit their words in a finished animation. But this man do the opposite way around and managed to get us an amazing voiced character

Damn, I didn't know that's how they did the voice acting for the old games. I knew performance capture was used since GTA 4 but I didn't know they just had some guys do the mocap and had the voice acting be 100% in-booth.
