There were biters back in the '80s and '90s, but they were checked and called out. Nowadays, rappers bite and nobody calls them out. It's accepted now. And I blame the '90s rappers, because they opened the door with the quoting of "tribute" lyrics. Now every imitator can hide being paying homage or tribute.

He's not dead tho... He just exist in another universe where these folks hatred can't touch him... It's never time to allow Pac to rest in peace... Not when cops is still killing unarmed males... Not when the system got these greedy section 8 masonic queendoms destroying males along with this masonic street culture, drugs & jails... Pac will never rest... He won't rest until souls stop being dumbed down, & hear what he was saying while he existed in our current universe... Not take pieces of what he spoke & fit it to narcissist's convenient narrative... Cowards ain't man enough or brave enough to duplicate Pac.... They know the consequences on this plantations... they'd rather do the devil's work & narcotize, terrorize, & disease the impoverished communities... There's less pressure doing that... & God allows them to do just that...🤔🤔🤔

YG wore a silk Versace shirt & called himself the new Pac. Kendrick & the Game did the same. Ice Cube gave credit to Ice T for using the 6 in the morning cadence. Guerilla Black borrowed Biggie's voice. Snoop Dogg bit Slick Rick flow, and the list goes on. Point being, rap is recyclable. But, I'm sure we all can agree some rap legends attributes should be retired and respected like the jerseys and legacies of Hall of Fame athletes. I believe it's egregious to steal the style of the deceased greats and don't pay homage.

It’s cus Pac’s influence was beyond rap for so many. Biggie was a dope rapper. But people see Pac as a revolutionary. Fans, rappers, have respect for Biggie and other great rappers on some music shit. But Pac is seen as a soldier for the people. I think that’s why so many latch on to his legacy. Also, another way to measure the impact of someone’s legacy...check to see how often it comes under attack. How many haters try to bring down it down? Biggies legacy is never under attack. Pac’s constantly is. And we’ve seen that with every other revolutionary who fought for the people.
