The worst part about those movies is they actually use kink techniques that are genuinely dangerous for you to do if you’re not well-informed. Like they use zip-ties to bind the lady. Do not use zip ties. They can cut off circulation and can potentially kill you.

I remember when the first movie stopped playing in theaters and was available online and stuff, one of my friends, who I have known since age 4, came to school super depressed looking and just not paying attention or talking or anything. So at lunch we ask him “hey man. How ya been? What’s up with the mood?” And he replies, dead pan, “my mom made me watch 50 shades of grey with her.” And the like 8 of us minus him burst out laughing. We asked, “no seriously, what’s up?” And he just said it again. So we laughed for another like five minutes then made him tell us the story. He started laughing along like 1/3rd of the way through the story, but man that had to be terrible.
