I’ve come very close to going down that knife-strewn path that Travis has wandered through. I mean sure, I already have a bedside knife and kitchen knives and a work knife and a car knife and a few multitools. But then you see some knives on sale, or a knife that looks a lot cooler than the knives you have or a knife that would be better at certain knife things than those knives or a knife that comes with some survival rope and stuff (and at that point does it reaaally count as a knife?) and you think “well, what’s the harm in just one more knife? I mean, with all these knives, it only makes sense that I should have some backup knives in case any of those knives go missing”. And you know, maybe this knife will be the thing that finally makes me feel happy and fulfilled, like all those knife wielding people on tv.
