Fun Fact: I went to a club in Vancouver where local bands were playing, and when everyone was filing out to buy posters and t-shirts to support the bands I ran into the guy who plays Captain Hook in Once Upon a Time. Apparently, he and Rumplestiltskin were regulars of the local music scene while they were filming in Vancouver. I still have the blurry phone pic I took with him somewhere in the deep recesses of my phone lol

Justin loves to give the others so much shit when their bits don't work. It was revitalising to see him fail so catastrophically

I'd pay real money to see Travis trapped in the middle of a conversation between Daniel Day Lewis and Jenkins from Adventure Zone.

Me and my friend used to religiously watch the first season of Once Upon A Time in 8th grade while simultaneously discussing it on the phone and I can assure you it is very real and very bad.

The first season isn't even that bad, tbh. The episodic "character of the week" explorations actually had some interesting twists and were so much better than the Emma-centric subsequent seasons.

Loved the ep but it's crazy that they don't upload the video with the audio. Even if it's a patron benefit, it should be released at the same time

I was into Once Upon a Time enough to be in the fandom and none of us can believe that show happened either. Little Bo Peep was a warlord. Peter Pan was Rumplestiltsken’s dad. The Wicked Witch raped Robin Hood largely to get back at her sister (and Robin’s girlfriend) the Evil Queen. The Evil Queen by the way was one of the only two people who could use light (aka goodness) magic. The Blue Fairy was evil. And Elsa was also there

The big controversy with Elsa was actually that Disney wouldn’t let them change her costume at all which meant she ended up looking really bad because that dress was designed for a cartoon character and not for a human woman. Edit: wait, I don’t think Blue was ever canonically evil, she was just hella sketch. She knowingly left the Evil Queen in two really bad domestic violence situations

OUAT was such an buckwild, incoherent mess from the LOST showrunners (no surprise), that Disney literally ran into the ground. The first and part of the second season WERE ACTUALLY a good mystery series, which later quickly morphed into "Disney Jumps the Shark Repeatedly" / "Disney Advertises ALL of its Popular IP" every season on network TV in the most nonsensical / ever escalating plotlines. And the queerbaiting--Dear Lord the queerbaiting! The writers / showrunners accidentally(?) make the female lead / hero Emma and the heel turned babyface Regina have the most onscreen chemistry together (in addition to ALREADY SHARING A SON). But this is Disney AND network TV, so that lesbian shit ain't gonna happen (despite the fact, if either Emma or Regina were gender flipped to a male character, they'd would have boned repeatedly before the end of the second season). So there's OUAT, with two super hot, super badass female leads (Lana Parrilla and Jennifer Morrison), with loads of palpable, onscreen chemistry and "will they, won't they energy" dance around the unspoken, lesbian elephant in the room for several season, which the showrunners "fix" by pairing both women up with laughably bad / pathetic male love interests, one of whom (Hook, IIRC) they have to heavily retcon / gloss over how fucking terrible he is / was in the show to the female lead he hooks up with. It's insultingly bad. The showrunners had a great idea... for less than 2 seasons of a show that they stretched out for 7 - 8 years.

@@Sahdirah Don’t know if it was confirmed but fans have always suspected it was pushed on the producers by Disney. I didn’t actually watch those episodes, I know I wasn’t the only one. OUaT’s charm was that it took very underdeveloped archetypes and turned them into developed complex characters. Elsa in OUaT is just movie Elsa but on OUaT and Disney was very protective over her. I seem to recall that during filming they had a rep on site who’s entire job was ensuring brand integrity for the Frozen characters. The season did well in ratings but isn’t particularly popular with fans.

Travis was so good in this episode!

I am more self-conscious on a plane than anywhere else because the plane is the one place where I am actually paying attention to other people and scrutinizing them. if you are watching something weird on the plane and I can see it I absolutely take note and will tell someone about it. i know i am the problem.

Re: a recent MBMBAM where Justin requests people tell him if they have flattering sex dreams about him: I do vividly remember a dream where I was explaining who the brothers were by saying, "Justin is brilliant, everything he touches turns to gold. Griffin is, like.... a baby genius I guess?? And I like Travis' purple hair." And really, what's more flattering, a sex dream or a dream where you're told you're better than your brothers? :) (Much love to all 3 very talented brothers, I take no responsibility for my dream self)

Not going to lie, that description of the Pixar office sounds like an ADHD nightmare. Sure, it's all fun and relaxed at first, but when you finally have to sit down and get some actual work done? No amount of Ritalin or Adderall will help you to concentrate in that environment.
