Mbeki calls for peace in Palestine
Former South African President Thabo Mbeki says the Israel bombardment on Gaza will not lead to the end of Hamas.
In an exclusive interview with the International News Editor Sophie Mokoena the former President also touched on the current situation in the DRC and the death of the Namibian President Hage Geingob.

"Free Palestine, from the river to the sea", is a recipe for eternal conflict. PS: By the way, isn't it Palestinians that occupies Jewish lands? Who was the king of Jerusalem 3 000 years ago?

To Thabo mbeki.for DRC conflit tata you are our African icon, myself I'm Angolan born in DRC.drc presidents,or peoples never discriminate any African who resides in their country the problem with Rwanda is their president kagame want to exploit the east of DRC so that is trying to integrate his peoples by force in drc and to occupy the highest position in drc government and all this is doing it with support of European (France, Britain etc...) kagame is anti Pan-African ,

Try harder. That said - I agree that the situation is historically, religiously, ideologically and politically complex for sure but the hard truth is: What did Sinwar expect? That the Israeli State would not react the way it has? It is tragic what is happening but no-one who is even vaguely aware of the day to day existential threat Israel faces should be surprised.
