Cut it and melt the ends or use a hot knife as intended. I struggled for a while and even gave up until I figured out how it’s normally worked with

I don’t like to melt the ends much as it takes away a little bit of it’s conform ability
Shit, I just ordered all the pretty colours.

1/8 inch heat shrink to or go a little bigger?

Size up on heat shrink
I appreciate the video. Maybe it would have been more helpful to show cleaning up the RX/ESC/battery wiring. The RS100 and Micro Komodo are pretty clean as it is (all black, multi-conductor wire). The principles you show apply across the board, but some of us would benefit from actually seeing it.

I have had plans to do this and will get to it hopefully soon. The videos have just had to take a back seat for a bit but will be getting back to them. I really appreciate the input as it helps me to make up my mind on what to do next. Always thanks for taking your time to watch!
Raw wires can look good, but it gets janky if you have to redo it. Every weird kink from the last time you hid the trash shows up.
Shorter wires=less resistance 👍

you can simply slip that shrink tubing on before you run that mesh down would be way easier than what he just did and you could use a slightly smaller size
