    You’re of course going to need to have a new blank key cut to match your car, and as far as programming it, try this. kzread.info/dash/bejne/n4ect5ujgqTZebg.html

  • @HiroshimaSpirit

    It should open normally if the doors are unlocked and the car is in park, if it’s an auto.

    Excuse me, I have a question. Does the horn sounds every time you lock the doors? Or maybe could you disable that feature? Thanks in advance, I was looking for a Mazda 2 but if it sounds always like that it could be annoying for my neighbours😢😅

  • @HiroshimaSpirit

    @HiroshimaSpirit

    7 ай бұрын

    Hit the lock button once. The beep on the second click is to make you sure you’ve locked it. It only takes one to lock all the doors. Also, unless your neighbors complain, who cares?

    You could probably get one for around $20 on eBay and swap the electronics and key over to the fresh plastics.

    I had the battery changed by the car dealership, but it didn’t worked, they said the key is dead, is that right?

  • @HiroshimaSpirit

    @HiroshimaSpirit

    3 жыл бұрын

    It’s possible. They also could have put in the wrong battery, or never changed the old one and lied to you in order to make an easy sale. Keys are expensive. Get another battery and try it for yourself.

    Panic button. If you hold it down it sets the alarm off. Good for drawing attention to yourself in the event of a robbery/assault/etc when near your car.

  • @HiroshimaSpirit

    Sounds like the anti-theft immobilizer chip is no longer functioning, for whatever reason. If you have the spare key, try to start the car with that and you’ll know for sure. If not, you need to get a new key paired to the car. All the power works and the car just won’t start, correct?

    The key you have might just have to be re-paired with the car, then. I’m not sure how to do that, but I’m sure there’s info out there somewhere.
