Great Video Aaron! I live in the Middle East where it's 107F ~ 119F in the summer (Mid May till Mid August), so I really need this even when in Early September till End of April. My FD is bone stock with RE Amemiya Intake and Large SMIC, with Koyo Radiator, hope i won't have problems.

Those are the OEM mounting tabs on the condenser. I used to cut mine off too but I've since added brackets to the radiator so I can bolt it right on. It is cleaner and less obtrusive with them removed though.

I have an M2 carbon intake also. I'm not excited to be trimming it. Gonna try and tackle this project next week.

Best of luck! Mine is still very secure with the 2 Bolts. Truth be told, it's easier to get in and out now 😉

How much did this whole set up set you back

Roughly $1k with all new components. No small amount, but they also have kits for vMount and you can buy it in pieces rather than a whole kit, so you can make a custom setup that works for you! Which is nice that we have options. If your old r12 has been adapted to work with r134a and is fine, keep it going. But if your r12 compressor dies, this is a good alternative that works great, and has parts that are cheaper and more accessible should you need to work on them in the future.
