*UPDATE* I’ve had the speakers in for a couple of weeks, the sound on them is definitely crisper and the quality is better than the existing speakers. The only issue I have is that you lose a lot of bass when compared to the OEM speakers. I personally liked the bass so going to be putting the old speakers back in. You could fit the JVC speakers with a new head unit or even a subwoofer for better bass 😊

I replaced my door speakers and center channel with 3 inch full range Dayton Audio speakers, and a pair of slim mount 6.5 inch woofers. My factory door woofers were the 8 inch Bose. For power, I used a 4 channel amp, with the 3 inchers crossed over at 200hz and up on the front channels, and the woofers crossed over at about 200hz and down on the rear channels. Sounds pretty darn good If you choose to do a center channel, use a 8ohm speaker there, and a mixed bridge capable amp. The run it in bridged mode on the front channels with the other full range speakers.

Huge upgrade in the sound for me was replacing the headunit. The signal from standard headunit is terrible. Good headunit makes stock speakers sound decent so combine with these should sound good
