Thank you so much! I changed out ONLY the rubber part for my Mazda CX5 windshield wipers. Got it at the dealership so it’s a perfect fit. It was $12.49 a piece. Huge savings vs. replacing the whole part. Make sure you still have your OEM wipers intact.

@@deVOtheVO you can loosen the cap and insert the new rubber without removing the cap fully. It's better if there are two people, it's a tough job for one.

You don't even need to loosen the cap. Just scrunch up the rubber toward one end of the wiper, this will pull the other end of the rubber wiper below its plastic cap, just enough to slip rubber end under cap

Watching a KZread video about how to perform this agonizingly fiddly process because I literally couldn’t find a windshield wiper that fits the custom made attachments for my CX-5. Does Mazda hate its customers or is their judgment really this bad?

Hope u enjoy this simple diy. I still feel manufacturer prevent user to diy and this take away opportunity to gain more profit.
