And the only way the 787b won Le Mans because Puegots engine failed, Jag was carrying 200KG extra for a penalty the the Mercedes shunted. Never mnd the 787B was allowed to run at 830kg and the rest in class had to run 1000kg cars.

I’d argue the old F1 Ferrari V10 from the late 90’s-early 2000 is the greatest sounding engine of all time. The rotary is certainly a mechanical symphony as well 😊

The Speed 8 has been and always will be one of my favorite race cars of all time together with the 787b and the 911 GT1. The 90s and 2000s really produced the best designs that exist.
