Hi, nice video Shaun, just a couple of extra comments as I live on Mazarron Country Club and I am President of the Urbanisation. It is a community of owners and we do pay community fees, not huge, I have a 300 square metre property and pay around 39 euros per month. That pays for street lighting, rubbish collection, gardening, road sweeping, and maintenance of our sewage system so I think it is pretty good value to live on such a lovely urbanisation. We do have a library staffed by volunteers open 2 afternoons a week. We have a variety of residents, British, German, Belgian, Dutch, French and some Scandinavians. Our office in the large building by the roundabout is open Mondays and Fridays from 10.00am to 12.00pm for any further information, and there are various estate agents selling property which you can find just by driving round the urbanisation. It is quiet here and it is true that currently there are no shops, but so long as you can drive there are shops and supermarkets around 10 minutes drive away in either direction. We also have one lovely resident who offers a "supermarket run" to those who don't drive. It is a superb community where people help each other.

Interesting video. In fact I do own a small property here (which I’ve had for about 12 years now). I have always used it as a holiday home (it has never been rented out), often spending several months there at a time, or just a few weeks. It’s a pleasant place to be and I’m lucky enough to have a lovely view over the valley basin from the front of the house and garden (you actually passed my place during your visit 😉). I’d say the majority of owners are British, but as you mentioned there are also quite a few German, Dutch, French, Belgian, Swedish etc owners too. Thanks for putting up this video 👍😂

Great video Shaun, we stayed here on holiday and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The bar wasn’t very good, ok for a couple of beers, but not really a place to spend much longer in. The communal swimming pool was excellent and also very quiet. Talking to some residents there had been some burglarys where the robbers had been watching from the hills waiting for people to go out. On balance though we really enjoyed our time staying there, the place is very tranquil and the few people around were very friendly.
