My old unit started leaking from rust, I bought it brand new in 1984, that's right, 40 years ago. When I called Maytag to register it today, they spent more time trying to get me to buy extended warranty, because they said they had been having problems with them within the 1st year. This is a disgrace, America use to build a washing machine that would last 40 years, now you're lucky if it last 40 weeks. I wish I could return it, and just J V Weld the old one.

Mine lasted about 4 years. The repair man said they only last about 5 years. The cost to repair would be 300. I am buying a speed queen instead.

Use every washer cleaner with the clean washer cycle… it needs to clean the whole thing, not just the bottom.

This is basically the top of the line model that is basic without any major features…

I have that exact one, bought 10/2018. It just stopped working.

Mine just died with clothes & water in it. Iterested in the "clicks" you get. Did your machine always do this? And did it quit working sometime soon after? What year is yours?

Do you have any problems with your low water level? I noticed my water level is low on my machine.

My washer puts a little drop of water and it's starts Washing with no water it bunches up all the clothes If u not watching it

Mine is 3 yrs old and the click are bad. Never again buying Maytag

I’ve had my machine for 7 years. I do NOT like the machine. You can’t pre fill it and add detergent for special projects like upholstery covers. It very frequently doesn’t add sufficient water to wet all of the load. I’ve tried all recommended troubleshooting and nothing improves the performance. I don’t recommend this machine.

You can add extra if you use extra rinse + extra heavy + and soak. Wait 20 minutes for the basin to fill and add whatever. Once you're done soaking, switch it to bulky / sheets

Why I have a maytag appliance it's still going strong. I have a front loader and a dryer electric both. Barely any problems I also bought it from lowe's

I have a Maytag dishwasher - few years old and it’s phenomenal

My father was a Maytag repair man back in the 59’s and repaired them on the side into the 69’s TGEY were bullet proof. Our family always bought them every successive machine got worse and worse. My latest Machine I bought less than a year and a Half ago sucks at washing, takes twice as long to wash and today it blew up! Maytag now officially sucks like all the other junk on the market. Computer controlled junk!!
