Hi, thanks for posting this video. How do you get the codes back after the diagnostic? Where can I find a code legend?

I had same problem and believe it or not after putting in diagnostics and running complete cycle test it started working as designed again

mines started messing up and I replaced the shift actuator . I cleared the codes and recalibrated and it started working again. a few days later it stopped mid cycle and the lid light started flashing along with the lid lock making a clicking. I pulled the codes F5 E1, F5,E3. I read that them codes were dealing with the lid lock assembly , so I replaced the it and the machine is still not working and the lid lock is still clicking . Someone suggested it might be my control board . By the time it said and done I will have basically a new washer with all these of pieces and parts I been replacing. My next step is taking a sledgehammer to this piece of maytag bravos crap

How did you pull codes? I ran the diagnostic but cannot figure out how to pull codes

Does anyone know how to disable the chimes/sounds? I hate the beeps and chimes this machine makes. Any ideas?

What if you do those steps and itdoesn’t do anything it just flash the wash machine light

Mine did everything yours did at the same time. Still nothing.

Just replaced the lid lock switch ran this and I still don't know what to do....lid lock stays engaged after turning the power off and I have to unplug it

d1001more try changing the shift actuator. It could also be the board but not likely.

@@quickestturtlez5362 did this ever get resolved? I have the same problem and was about to change the lock but I read somewhere else that it could be the actuator so I wanna confirm if this was indeed the problem in your case. Thanks!

@@javyr The error codes for the 2 are different, i would check the service manual that came with your washer to confirm which is which. Otherwise you have a 50/50 chance of guessing

The lid lock on mine stays on all the time too and I would have to unplug, plug it back in multiple times before I could get the cycle to start. Now it won't work at all and when it's plugged in the lid lock light stays on. Can anyone point me to what could be wrong?

@@sabreleshay2010 Either the shift actuator or the lid lock. Go to a youtube channel called "Lorain Furniture and Appliance" . They have a video showing you how to put the washer in test mode. It's very straight forward.

What if at end of cycle , clothes wet, no water in drum it shows ol on screen?

Mine goes threw all the cycles then stops, the lid lock starts flashing. All while wash, rinse, and spin are lit....... 😭

My lid lock will keep locking, it will lock 3 times and then the light will keep flashing
