Maytag 1-28-24 | See Description for Details | Thanks for Watching!

I hope you see the other videos I published about this new washing machine, go check them out. I'm just so thrilled and feel so blessed I was able to get this new washing machine!
I do know there are electronic computerized boards in most all washing machines, I didn't explain myself very well in the video, what I meant when I said knobs instead of electronics is some machines have digital displays that light up when you push on instead the mark instead of turning the dial. I have had lots of electronics over the years and in my experience the ones that I push on instead of turning a knob have cracked at the mark where you push on it but the ones with knobs don't do that. I do believe I am correct in thinking that this machine having the knobs has less to go wrong than the ones with all the electronic lights that are all across the top of washing machine. That Roper is at least 10 years old, it has 3.5 basket with agitator. This new one I got, the Maytag has a 4.8 basket and with the impeller I can put in large quilts, bed covers, towels, jeans, sweatshirts, any and all types of loads and it has performed superbly. I use that washing machine just about everyday since I got it and I am so very pleased with it. I could never say that about the Roper. I had to take it apart several times to reattach those stupid long metal bars that hold it up on four sides, they would pop out of the socket. The plastic basket around the metal tub slowly cracked away all around the top and continually spit out pieces of plastic all over the place for the last ten years. It was so loud when it was spinning that it sounded like jet engines gearing up for takeoff. Before I had that Roper I had a Kenmore that over 25 years old when it croaked, that was when they were made to last. My Mom had bought it new in the 1980s, when she passed away in 2005 it was left to me and I used it until about 2014.
If you are new here you may not know that I make mostly working on my gardening endeavors on the land I bought in 2021, I also make some videos to show what I been remodeling in my old house that was built in 1939. I started making videos for myself to document my journey at my new property and to show friends and family what I been doing. If you would like to follow along I invite you to subscribe, like and comment, also check out my older videos to catch up on what I've accomplished over the years.

As title indicates, I've had since January and feel so lucky, so blessed, I adore this machine more than any washing machine I've ever had.

It is electronic. The controls are rotary knobs instead of buttons or touchpads but they are selectors for the computer board behind the panel. Roper and Maytag are both Whirlpool brands. Whirlpool bought Maytag in 2006. This Maytag is the same mechanical design as the Roper, with an impeller substituted for an agitator and the computer board revised accordingly for fill levels and such.

I see you have the rubber feet under the adjustable legs to help reduce vibration. How’s the vibration in the final rinse and spin? We’re returning ours because it’s pretty extreme.

Mine is not noticable. I adore my machine. I put the pads under bottom to make it easy on me to move it out to clean under and behind. I would rate my machine 10 out of 10, it's wonderful.

That’s great. We’re getting a replacement in a week. I checked to make sure it is level and it’s dead on. Something else is wrong.
