Mayim’s dad was my journalism teacher in middle school in Van Nuys, CA in ‘96. I was 11. He was inspiring. With his encouragement I won a writing contest and the prize was to go to a ucla/usc football game with him, other journalism teachers, and more student winners from nearby schools. Mr. Bialik would bring up his daughter in class, he was so proud of her and their family being Jewish immigrants

Wow, that is an awesome story!
I really appreciate how much she looks around at everyone when talking, and really gives her full attention to questions that aren't just coming from Steve-O, with him being the host/famous person in the room. It's really nice to see someone super tuned in, down to earth, and with actual situational awareness and not caught up in their own bs.

She is absolutely one of the most interesting people this show has had. Amazing episode.
This was great. I'm glad Mayim felt so comfortable, not that she shouldn't have in anyway. Cheers everyone. Love the diversity of guests.
This podcast just keeps getting better and better! Great guests and steveo is a great host
Absolutely fantastic episode! I love how engaged everyone was, this felt like a very easy conversation with lots of honesty. Definitely need to see Steve-O on her podcast next 🙌

New levels of respect for Steve-O. His podcast is hands down my favorite right now. Very cool brotha! Great mix of celebrities 👏! Definitely a "Wild Ride ".

Steve O loved, loved the podcast w/Mayim. I watched this episode because I had just watched part 1 and part 2 on Mayim's KZread channel w/you as her guest...I commented on the episode that it was my favorite. I've been watching her podcast for a year. You are absolutely a great person and such a honest person. Much love to you and your Lady!!

Watched your podcast for the first time because you had Mayim on. You guys did a great job. Everyone was so attentive, I appreciated you letting her speak and the interaction you had with her. Many podcasts the host interrupts so much it’s hard to keep up. This was a really good one, great guest, awesome content.
Always a good interview when someone holds a wealth of knowledge and can communicate well... good stuff
This was SUCH a great episode. I hope you have her again. I could listen to you guys talk all day. I wish this was longer.

Didn't think I'd be interested as much as I was while watching this video... was only going to watch a little bit to pass time but ended up watching the whole thing! Great guest and captivating stuff!
20:19 hit so close for me. I was a "gifted kid" on track to got to medical school for dermatology until Orgo Chem. Always felt stupid for failing it but if someone as smart and cool as Mayim didn't do well either... maybe I'm not too bad.
@NatalieValentina6

Orgo is like learning a new language... without having full access to accurate vocabulary, rules for syntax, or verb tenses😂. I wound up going to 4 Chem tutors, who were Chem grad students & researchers, that year...just to get through. I wound up doing well, grades wise, but I was miserable. That was the only STEM course that truly baffled me, & for which I had to spend an inordinate amount of time studying & drilling.

When I saw her name I thought it was incredibly random for Steve-O to have her and in the end it was probably the most surprising and greatest non-jackass guest Steve-O ever had, I loved her
I love how Mayim measures her words. Even though I don’t agree with every single one she speaks, she is eloquent. Class act. Steve-O, your transitions into promoting your sponsors is so good! New subscriber due to this very episode. Introduced to a clip of Frankie Muniz 💚
I have been binge watching all day while I work this podcast hit different. I love this episode ❤️
Steve - "When you were taking organic chemistry--" *Scott interrupts* "Was that at Whole Foods?" FUCKING HILARIOUS
Vegans, mental health, talking about grad school. Loved it and smiled the whole time. Good morning Vietnam .😀
Thank you for this interview! I suffer from C-PTSD and hearing about the Mind n Body connection is definitely something I want to look into for help. I've tried meds but the side effects make my symptoms worse

also loved hearing two chill vegans talk about their thoughts and ideals. I hope you you get to finish all of these great conversations!
I've heard Mayim speak for years to so many people and the takeaways are she's authentic her stories do not change she's educated and is always of service to others Such a role model without pushing any “agenda”

this was a great podcast-they had great chemistry together.
OMG I loved this episode so much!! Where is part 2???
Mayim Bialik is such a beautiful woman. not only does she have beauty but she has brains. You can see that she genuinely cares about everyone here and that she is actually kind of intrugued in diving deeper into everones minds here. and this is just my initial response comment at about half way through. If I ever had a chance at attracting her attention I would take it 100% of the time. I love chatting and getting to pick someones brain who I feel is either smarter than me me or knows more about a subject than me.
I've always loved Mayim, but I had no idea what a fascinating orator she is!
That was so cool. Joey Lawrence last week and now Mayim Bialik. :)
She was great, she has a comfortable relaxed way about her that makes the conversation flow so easily.
This is amazing! Loved it!! Great conversation!!
Never would have put this pairing together in a million years. Excellent hour.
YOU MUST DO ANOTHER INTERVIEW WITH MS. BIAYLIK!! This was a great interview.

i'm right there with you! she's too much of an actress to be a host. ken is the obvious person to host "jeopardy!", he doesn't try to garner attention, the way she does. she makes the show unwatchable, which angers me because i love the show.
The OCD thing - I had this thing when I looked out of the window from somewhere I couldn't just take my eyes off of it but kinda had to "slide" from side to side to take them away from where I was watching. I didn't have any conscious feeling of dread but it just felt "wrong" Or Like "bad luck" if I didn't do it
I used to watch every single night with my parents jeopardy and get destroyed by them. Now I watch with my husband and kid. It came full circle. Also we record it and I always google the final answer before so my hubby thinks I’m super smart lol. 5 years running now won many bets lol.
