Mayhem At Reiss Nelson's Late Winner, Followed By Full Time Celebrations - Arsenal 3, Bournemouth 2
Музыка
Substitute, and long-term injured, Reiss Nelson scores a 97th minute winner to beat Bournemouth 3-2 in the Premier League on Saturday 4 March 2023. The Cherries took the lead after only 10 secs from Philip Billing and were 2 up after Marcos Senesi scored from a corner. But goals from Thomas Partey and Ben White (another substitute), brought it level, before Nelson's dramatic last attack of the game strike.

As someone who was at Anfield in 89 I don’t think there’s been a stronger bond in the club in all these years since then, even more than the Invincibles ! ❤❤❤

@@nellyngash7899 The invincibles is (so far) the single most impressive acheivement, but I agree with TMD on this feels a stronger bond between players/fans and i go back to watching in the Schoolboy 50pence enclosure, Brady, Stapelton, Jennings. We are both willing hard this title chase to end in victory, atamopshere and results bear this out, in a bare & brutally honest way. Some of that invincible team won the title in 98 & 02 so the fans had seen title wins, some of the young generation of fans now, have never seen even a believable title challenge, let alone being champions. If we clinch the title this year, going from 8th-5th-Champions(?), breaking a 19 year hoodoo of no title, this team will be forever remembered. A mostly young team that was born and blossomed in front of our very eyes this season, has been playing box office football, has given us/football fans some memorable goals/games, that last minute screamer from Nelson, that would've knocked over Nelson's Column hitting Sunak on the head, so to have the 19yrs worth of pent up frustration/dissappointment release from off our backs, will cement this team, these players in our folklore, in our emotional history books. There's sub-plots in this team, Xhaka winning us back, our Prodigal son Saliba returning, welcomed with his own song (very rare for a CB), which was song with much gusto when in one of his first games, scored that own goal, what a bonding moment that must have been for the lad! You saw him look down at the ground after his OG, then the song ran out and he became 7ft tall again. Saka missing a crucial pen in the Euro final but since despatching them at will for us, our star man out for 3mths, image Jesus returning scoring the title clinching goal. Our team is full of likeables, there's not one where you think big of a bad egg, a bit 'dodge', could take him or leave him, add to it the financial mismatch of the Taj Mahal v a Teepee, an old club giving the reins to a young manager, who has systematically rebuilt our squad, removed certain 'apples' from our barrell and tore down the sigh which said 'Sssssssh! Please be aware people are trying to read in here!" I remember watching Paul Merson being inconsolable (i was too) after our UCL lost to Barca, saying we missed our chance, we might never make a CL final again, keep these players & this manager together, we will!
Witnessed one of the greatest game as an arsenal fan will always exist in my memory
What a joyful moment for Nelson; a guy in the periphery of affairs to give the team, fans and coaching staff, such a good feeling! He's headed places,is our hero boy!
This lad played less than 90mins this season and already has 3 goals 1 assist to his name. What a baller.

I've been a Gooner for over 60 years. The pleasure of this win is equal to the feeling that the Highbury win when Radford scored the 1st goal in the Inter zcities Fairs cup which we went on to win. The 1st silverware fore 17 years. Go the Gunners thanks for all the pleasure you've given me over the years.

I jumped for joy, screamed my head off and lost my voice. What a feeling that last goal was. Incredible.
Currently Arteta is the single most important person in our great club.
I'm proud to be an arsenal fan 👏 big up guys.
I was already on my knees bowing down 🙇🏼 on the dinning room floor and my head pulled up the second the corner was taken I could barely see because my coat has this giant fluffy hoody and was plonked on top my head at the moment when Nelson controlled the ball I went absolutely nuts!!! Even ran outside into the road and came back in!!
