Totally agree. Not a lot of places where you can get great food and staff in the one.

I knew you would both love it. Would definitely recommend going in the evening when obvs all the lighting in the restaurant is in full glow - it looks even more spectacular than during the day.

Amazing vlog Hannah! Really a very posh restaurant 🏛with an incredible interior decoration inspired by a historical theme. They must have paid a lot of money to recreate this scene with all those statues, artistic paintings on the walls and ceiling. What a beautiful surprise it is to see Natalie with you in your vlogs! Tesco meal deal, PMSL. You mentioned that the staff are delighted to be working there, which makes the service that much better for you as a patron. Somewhere around 1985 (we go back a bit) I was an IT engineer for a manufacturer, a household name. Having fixed up a currency dealer in the City with so many issues in some three months, I was taken for a plush lunch. "Have what you want" was the offer. Listed were items of £18 to £30.00 for one item, it was an expensive place. The waitress was utterly miserable, stroppy and a real downer. Thing is I was supplied with 2.5lb piece of Dover Sole and a bowl of absolutely delicious new boiled potatoes. I ate the lot ! Am not a small person, but the food more than made up for the miserable service which my host apologised for. He didn't have to. She was a stunner, who was obviously employed benath herself. Could care a damn, that was the most delicious lunch I ever had and still is, many years later. I retired 11 years ago anyway, so there won't any more of those. Mind you, their computer room didn't fail with anything for the duration I stayed with the company, before going onto to University to do a design course. The behaviour of staff is so important.

Definitely. The food can be the best in the world but if the staff are rude or grumpy then it takes it away. My list of places to try if I get to London is getting longer by the week.

Always love when you give a 10/10! Especially when the service ,the thoughtfulness, the feeling you get from the staff is a major component.❤. No one likes to be looked down at by the employees when you visit a venue.

STUNNING!!!!! The bar reminded me of Gustav Klimt's work. A lot of gold.

Thank you Hannah. I've said it before.. You know it's good if Hannah and Nat both give 10s. Liking the look of the mocktail . I'm nearly 2 years without alcohol and tiring of lemonades, Pepsi and Fanta so trying different drinks.

Cheers Hannah, it’s Sean in Atlanta! The Bacchanalia Restaurant is absolutely gorgeous in that red brick! If those were original sculptures, I am truly impressed! I didn’t think those could be displayed outside of a museum, unless perhaps they are privately owned. I would be on pins and needles in case someone should bump that bust of Caesar, for instance! And the other sculptures were incredible to look at hanging over peoples heads! It is a work of historic art in its own right! The food presentation looked every bit as beautiful as the restaurant! Very impressive and it sounds like you ladies really enjoyed it! And a 10 out of 10? Double 10s? Outstanding, Hannah! That is a restaurant that someone invested in heavily and it shows! And you have to admire a business that hires the best people who obviously made such a great first impression. I’m so happy that you both enjoyed such a wonderful lunch! Thank you for taking me on another incredible journey that I would not have dreamt of going to on my next trip to London! You have made my average afternoon absolutely smashing! Sean P.S. It kind of reminds me of a restaurant in Notting Hill called Beach Blanket Babylon which was very unique in an almost cavern like way.

I will add to my options the next time I'm in London. I checked out the dress code and as a Canadian had no idea what sliders were so had to look that up.
