Hi! :) about the vest, I prefer the garter side but I think I would make them even larger! Going back to work is really hard at first, it's very normal to be nervous but it will be easier for her than for you if that helps haha ; and quite quickly you will be enjoying your new rythm of life
I don't have any practical tips regarding the end of your maternity leave. Just take it easy and let yourself adjust to a new situation for a while. I was on maternity leave for five months, and my son went to daycare once I had to go back to work. I remember he was there just for a few hours on the first day, and I was circling around the daycare, not knowing what to do with myself. It was hard, but it became better with time. And it's really great to talk with adults and drink a hot cup of coffee :-)
My heart goes out to you about the end of your maternity leave! I would talk to your supervisor about potentially leaving early some days if she is having a hard day, just so you have a backup plan, having an exit strategy makes me feel better when I am away from my little guy. So great you don’t have to go back to full time out of the house! Love all your spinning learning journey! My baby just turned one. I think getting into spinning if/when I get pregnant with my second will be great timing. Love your slipover! Makes me want to get the pattern. XO from Alaska
Dress: the interfacing should be ironed on the inside fabric. Or use the sew in kind instead of the iron on. It’s beautiful!
Garter looks really pretty!
Your dress is very cute. It might be puckering because the iron on interfacing is not completely fused. I would try and get that to fuse gain. I enjoyed the video! Thank you!

Thanks for the tip!!
I just bought the blueberry ice cream color of the new KFO cotton merino and it is soooo cute! (I haven't cast anything on with it yet though)

I’m jealous!! It’s the best blue
I like the stitched tabs... Don't worry about the icord👍
I've been eyeing the knitting for olive blueberry ice cream for awhile too. Curious what you are gonna make!!
For the orange yarn, you could check out the Melides top. It has a 25st gauge. I don’t find that see through :-)

What sweater are you wearing?

Hi! It’s a ready to wear sweater, but the Farnham sweater by the knit purl girl is a very similar look.

@@apt.atelier oh yes, I can see the similarities. Thanks for the recommendation.
