I love your eyelet tank! The contrasting bias binding and tie at the back really level it up even more. Thank you for sharing your approach to practice garments. That’s so helpful and encouraging to hear that they’re often not perfect on the first or second attempt but you are still able to wear them. I appreciate all the details you share about your making process.

That lined tank is so clever! I like how you tucked in the lining and left the fashion fabric portion untouched. All your makes look so lovely and professional. I appreciate that you remind us that it takes three or four tries to get the ideal fit and look. I find that encouraging.

Rebecca, your May makes all great. The eyelet fabric for the caftan a show stopper. And, the silk tweed jacket lovely! It fits you like a glove. I enjoy hearing the commentary on your makes, and find them useful in my sewing. Thank you.

What a beautiful assortment of May finishes!!! Evey piece was my favorite and then you showed the next piece and then that was my favorite. The last two pieces and the blue color blocked piece were just so fun. No makes for me this month but I am currently quilting a small quilt for a quilt show challenge that I am just over the moon about. I do have some garment sewing projects I want to get to while the weather is warm here in the Colorado mountains....for us half of the year is pretty cold and being from Florida I always love pulling out the colorful Summer pieces.

Wow, that lace top is so pretty, very well made🙌🏼. I went to Cynthias Fine Fabrics last Saturday, very nice place 😊, and I did buy some fabric 🤣🤣. I dropped my daughter’s machine for service, and this is the only place I found in this area 👍👍.

So many useful and beautiful pieces. I love the eyelet tops in particular. Your lovely and well fitting pants also are an inspiration. My goal is to work on fit and sew similar well fitting slacks. I’ve been educating myself and made progress. Your videos and recommended books are appreciated!

Great video. I really like your eyelet caftan. The fabric is so pretty, and the style suits you. I have an Atelier Jupe caftan pattern that is similar with the front yoke. I plan to make it soon in a tropical print rayon challis from Harts Fabrics. Thanks, Rebecca.

Thanks so much! My pattern is self drafted but I do have a tutorial on how to sew them on my blog, Sew Pomona sewpomona.com/reversible-tank-top-sewing-tutorial/ . A video tutorial is on my list- but probably not until later in the year.

Hi Rebecca You might be able to help, do you have a favorite tee for doing yoga? I find most tees are too large around and the top flops up showing off your waist in several poses. Not a good look for a 65 year old woman. I really need a pattern with a cup adjustment or spec for a C cup. Thanks. Great video.

Hi Cheryl! I would look at Jalie patterns. They have quite a bit of activewear and I love how they draft. You could also try Feyr Trade, she drafts a lot of fitness wear too. Johanna Lundstrom from The Last Stitch has some fantastic books for activewear and a great YT channel. Hope that helps!
