May Inoue Trio 井上銘 - Taiji Song 2 - with Julian Crampton & Andrew Small at BIMM Brighton, UK. This video is from a workshop/rehearsal for students at BIMM Institute Brighton. This was in preparation for a concert the following night, opening for the Mike Stern Band at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London. May Inoue is considered to be one of Japan's best jazz guitar players.
This was the first time May Inoue met these two musicians from the UK, Julian Crampton and Andrew Small. We though it would be a good idea to show the students at BIMM the rehearsal process from first meeting and initial discussions to a run through of some tunes - literally the very first time they played this tune together.
The audio was captured through the on-camera microphone.
