I love your garden tours! They have helped me in choosing plants I would have not tried without seeing where and how you grow them. You inspired me to plant a raised bed cut flower garden and it has been such fun branching out from just zinnias to some more 'exotic' flowers.

Beautiful garden tour. I have learned so much from you vs the "experts". My zone is 8 a but im over in eastern NC. We have hot summers which last till Oct. Torrential rains sometimes with hail and daily tornado warnings until hurricane season kicks in. Most of my gardening is pots or hanging baskets now due to multi health issues but I love watching other gardeners. Your channel is one of my very favorites!

Good day. What gorgeous gardens. For me I like to see it all cause I want to know what you planted next to what and to see if they do well together. That will help me with my gardens. Do you talk a lot well maybe but then that is ok because you are being you. We all talk the way do and why change. If you do then you are trying to be just like everybody else and that would be boring. Happy Mother's Day and enjoy the rest of your day.

My lisianthus has also just now taken off; I think it just needed the heat. The one thing I’d like to know, and maybe you can add sometime, is which of your beds get morning sun and which get the hot afternoon sun. 🌞🌻🌼🌸

You should garden tour whatever you're feeling on the day you decide to do one. Some days it might be just your cut flowers and some days it might be something else. I know I appreciate whatever you're willing to share. Now I have a question. Last year I grew some sunflowers and zinnias from seed. This year I ventured into many more varieties. However, as I am working in or enjoying my garden, now that I've started seeds inside I see cotelydons all over the place in my garden (and not where either the sunflowers or zinnias were). How do you know if something has reseeded or what is growing in a "strange" place? As of today I've been pulling them out, but should I? Or should I wait for "true" leaves and see if I can identify the plant. Beginners luck, I already have more plants than space. I've been shoving them wherever I find a hole in my gardens. Your gardens are lovely and I'm learning a lot from watching your videos. Side note: I planted 3 containers and I think they look nice. I only squeezed 3 plants in each one, a far cry from your planters 🤣, but if they live, I'll call that a success.

+Janice Tanner I ha e the same issue so I try to let things grow a little bit before pulling them … zinnias and sunflowers have a pretty distinctive look … try photographing their seedlings so you will recognize them for next year.

I love your garden tours! I’m amazed at all the variety you have in the plants you grow! It inspires me to be a little more adventurous in growing things I’m not familiar with. I have a question… what is the alignment/direction of your garden beds? For instance, is your front garden bed north, south, east, or west-facing? I’m just curious what kind of light your different beds are receiving. I love how everything is looking - I found some trailing purple lantana at Covington’s and have it planted in a container… I can’t wait to see it spilling over the edge! 😍 Thanks mucho! 👋🏼

I tried growing ranunculus last year and I got nothin! :0(. Supposedly they are perennial in my zone 10a but all I could figure was they absolutely don’t like hot weather. So I’m thinking they really aren’t perennial in zone 10 a. They didn’t come back up this year either. I used to live in Texas and I know it’s hot there too. I hope they flower for you but don’t be too sad if they don’t. That plant that you think may be a weed... I think you should hold off pulling it. I’ve not seen a weed that looks like that.
