Honestly, this month has been hard. I wss in the hospital in April and May was spent recovering at home and on high dose steroids. My life is in limbo trying a new therapy to get my disease into remission. I cant make any plans for the future because I need to be close to the hospital and my doctors. All this to say my skin freaked out from the steroids and my cystic acne was horrible. I am on .05 tret but it was doing nothing. I decided to try Azelaic Acid on a whim and my skin is literally transformed. My saving grace is Peach Slices Azelaic Serum and it has helped tremendously. Definitely my holy grail product of the year. I have zero redness now and my acne is drying it and healing.

@racheljackson3182 thank you girl! I have severe IBD so I have had many hospital stays as a young person (33 now but diagnosed at 16). Definitely a very hard way to live but I appreciate all the good days I get. I have a growing skincare list since finding this channel and it is becoming an obsession while I am stuck at home. Hope you are in “tolerable” health right now. I know we rarely feel good so I hope you can also find relief for your illness💜🙏🏻

I am in love with the all three products from the Skin1004 Probio-Cica line, the toner, ampule and moisturizer. FYI, I have mature reactive skin and rosacea and am always trying to strengthen my skin’s barrier.

I can relate to being bored with skincare products. I always have to add something new. So i can get excited again about doing my skincare routine.

SKIN 1004 is one of my very favorite K Beauty brands. Haven't heard of this ampoule until your video. Gonna have to try it out!

What you said at the end of your video really resonated with me. Our small changes are collectively the big change!

Yes, I’m going to be 60 this Summer & I’m currently using the 9Wishes Cleanser, Toner, Serum, & Cream. This whole line is wonderful. The toner has a viscous texture to it. Kind of like the toner from Haruharu. This whole line is fragrance free but very hydrating. The cleanser is great for the morning or if you don’t wear makeup on a daily basis. The Cream is a gel Cream, best for at night as I find it pills if you apply makeup over it. For day, I would just use a thinner lotion. They DO make a lotion that they call a body lotion but is also great for the face, as the Ingredients are pretty much the same & fragrance free. 😉

I got the skin 1004 ampoule at a discount on stylevana. Its really nice for dry skin because of the emollient ingredients. Makes my skin feel comfy and glowy. I’ve only used it for a couple of days so I don’t know the effect of probiotics yet

Will you review the rest of the Skin 1004 Pro Bio cica line products?

I’m also trying to find more ideas to use up all the extra serum left over from face masks. Two easy ways for me to best incorporate in my routine are as a facial spray or premixed in a lotion or cream. Can I use this extra serum in either way? Are there any do’s/do not’s to know? I’d love any recipes you can suggest!! Thank you, Kelly!

Where do you Oder k beauty products? Stylevana is taking forever some people say they are waiting for 2months or longer and for some there orders never received

^For dry skin people( on tret)... which would u recommend to wear under SPF and makeup to maybe avoid those dry patches?Also sinks in fast? I know most people layer on their skincare but that can cause makeup to pill/dry flakes

Hey Kelly! I make cucumber water to drink in one of those fruit infused diffuser pictures. Its just distilled water & fresh cut cucumber! Can I pour this infused water into a spray bottle to use as face mist? How long will it last if it’s not refrigerated? Txs!!

You can, but it will only be good for about 1 day without refrigeration and maybe only about 5ish days in the fridge, it will grow microbes quickly. (experience with using fresh green tea in a spray bottle, it doesn't last long!)

@ 6:59 you mentioned the benefits of a first essence & that this Centella ferment could in theory replace it. Could you do a video on First essences? I’ve never seen anybody talk them & why they’re good or necessary❤ What does glactomyces ferment do for you? Or any ferments for that matter.

How is okra mucin jelly different from aloe vera?

Fairly similar, Aloe is also considered a phyto mucin! They are close in texture and hydrating/soothing abilities.

Using multiple layers at a time. I just finished up a 500ml bottle in 3 months and always used no less than 2 layers and up to 4 sometimes. I know it sounds excessive, but it really boosts the hydration of my skin and drastically improved my skin barrier - granted I use an occlusive over it.

Dear Kelly, the second part of the video was so interesting: you're definitely a spiritual, soulful and mindful person. And I feel you! Unfortunately I'm going through some hard and soul-wrenching family problems and, despite considering myself a good soul who always tries to help others, I've been experiencing first hand how mean, nasty and cruel people can be. This is making me feel bitter, but I'm really trying to fight off this (natural) reaction. I don't want to be like the people that I have had to deal with lately. Ok... not much of what I've written will make sense to you... oooos sorry for venting. I'm just so exhausted atm and I'd appreciate a helping hand, you know? However, it feels like I'm only receiving slaps on the face

I'm sorry you're in a tough spot with unkind people. What has helped me deal with people like this is remembering that their unkindness is often their internal pain that they are turning outwards on you. They have yet to learn about themselves and can be unskilled in their behavior. It doesn't make that behavior right, but it means it's not really about you. That has always helped me not be so hurt by this type of person/behavior. Good luck, sending hugs!❤
