Thats the most beautiful cake I have seen in a long time so elegant wouldn't that be a beautiful tier on a wedding cake you are so gifted and your ideas amazing love the flowers just randomly placed the colours work so well with the white wafer paper, if you were to colour the wafer paper do you mix the conditioner with the colour before applying yo the wafer paper and then dry . I wouldn't say it does, but you can brush a little melted cocoa butter on the wafer paper that will touch the cake first, and that does help.

I love the pansies on this cake. They are delicate, and if it were in season, they are edible! I love sugared edible flowers for desserts, and this is a beautiful example of the perfect canvas for pansies. I think it might be my favorite simple cake you've done!

The flowers are violas (my favorite!). They look like pansies but are smaller :)
So if you add the conditioner to the wafer paper, the wafer won’t melt in the refrigerator? Thank you for responding 😊

Just like normal;) the wafer paper would just break off. You could even just pull it off right before.

When I was steaming it, I sprayed it on to keep the ruffles flexible instead of brittle.
Can you share the link where you found the flowers?
Can cake be stored in fridge overnight after adding wafer paper ?

I sprayed it on the wafer paper after steaming it to soften the paper so it ruffled better. It was quick;)
