Impressive as always! You should do a video about HSAs and high deductible plans vs the low deductible plan and how to choose the best option for you. We have an HSA and “mid” deductible plan bc I’m scared of the other two options 😬 But sometimes I do wonder if I should switch…

I’m a single person, but generally a high deductible plan is best for people who have little to no medical costs, and statistically aren’t going to utilize the plan much, i.e. this is for something catastrophic, so I’d rather pay less each month because my chance of utilizing it is low. OR the flip side- I know that I’m going to hit this very high deductible regardless, so let me save on the premiums (if you have a chronic health condition, are a woman in your reproductive years, very small kids with uncertain health care needs etc).

Hi always love your videos. Its always good to evaluate emergency funds dollars and see if enough. As prices and costs have gone up i have had to change goal amounts. I don't have that wagon but I have a nice wagon from Target and I love love it. A wagon makes everything easier. For me it's to carry my elder dog I'd she doesn't want to walk as far.

It was a 2 day process. We vacated for 2 days to give them space and not breathe paint fumes. The company moved all furniture and wall art and put it all back!

I have a question! I have forgotten how to account for using my sinking fund money in my expense tracker. I have deducted the amount of money I need on one excel line, but how do I show I applied it to an expense category? For instance, I went over in my travel budget for the month, but knew I had the sinking fund to account for it... now I pulled it from my sinking fund, but now what? Thanks!

curious where you calculate your interest earned on high yield savings... into your monthly income? At the end of the year?

How much was it to paint the whole inside of the house? I'm also looking to have that done when we go to buy a house too. I saw like $3000 - is that roughly right?

I’m having a hard time making a budget as my income is different every paycheck… 😩

  • @brittany3946

If you’re able, try and take an average of your paychecks. My income is different every time too and I started by looking back on the previous year and averaged it out. So if you average $1000 a paycheck but you make $1300 this time, save that $300 in a buffer account, and only use it for the paychecks that are less than $1000. If your next paycheck is $800, pull $200 from that buffer account.
