Yes, this is a really good trailer, Mark. I don’t feel like anything was given away and it leaves you wondering how this story will go.

I’m beyond pumped! I’m hoping Ti West knocks it out of the park and from this trailer, it looks like it could meet my expectations.

I haven't seen X, went ahead and bought the Pearl blu-ray and loved it. I was very surprised at how well she acted; she can express intense emotion with simple facial expressions, scary when she wanted to be, then sad or happy, real cinema. I thought Pearl was a really excellent horror movie....with depth imo. Pearl's over the top exaggerated colors at time a bit much, but still glad I have the blu-ray. So, I have not heard about Maxxxine until now with your video, just watched the trailer, thank you James. My excitement level a 5, I'll wait til the movie comes out when you and others can do a deep dive to give me a better feel. But yea, I'm definitely interested.

Yeah, MaXXXine is one of the films I'm most looking forward to this year for sure. Mia Goth is a fantastic actress.

Psycho 3 was being filmed in 1985 so it fits with the timeline.

I hope there’s an A24 shop exclusive 4K trilogy of the X trilogy, X and Pearl have 4K steelbooks from Germany, I have X but not Pearl as it was expensive

I would be down with a 4K set of this trilogy.

I wonder if Ti West got bigger names because of a bigger budget or people wanting to be involved in this based off the strength of the last 2 films

That is a good question, Dan. Could be that as he’s gained more attention he’s attracting more talent to his projects as you suggest. Looking forward to seeing MaXXXine later this year!
