Maxine Wren lost 17st 7lbs and is Slimming World's Woman of the Year 2018
39 year old Maxine Wren from County Durham was told by her doctor that weighing over 27 stone was killing her and if she didn’t slim down she wouldn’t be around in 12 months’ time. Maxine refused the offer of slimming pills and gastric bypass surgery and instead joined her local Slimming World group in 2013. She dropped an incredible 13 dress sizes - going from a 36 to an 8/10 - and has been named Slimming World’s Woman of the Year 2018.
