good stream. and I agree with all your points. its not quite there on the gameplay side of things with player movement. and it's very difficult to make a 3d football game that feels good. its tough. I want the game to be great, and its kinda fun but everything feels off at the moment. If they just polish up the animation transitions that would improve the game drastically from its current state. but yeah it has a ways to go right now

I can say after playing the Beta, I had a lot of fun which was so different I was surprised & Your constantly reminded it's not finished and me going back to play Madden 24 shows me how different but similar in some polishing needed they need. I had a lot of fun I played two days in a row

The one thing that is so important for maximum football and really any sports game today is that it's fun. I feel like to many games are going for simulation, which is fine, but without it being actually fun it won't succeed.

I agree. If the dynasty mode offers a good amount of depth then I'll be fine with it. Head Coach 09 style.

Thanks for the video man. I think from what this game came from to now is massive. Also they got more time in the oven. I think with some more animations paired w/ physics and announcers will make a huge difference.

5 more years?? really? hmm. Obviously you would know better than I do, in my mind they could polish up the current animations in 6-8 months? but maybe Im being naive in how fast it takes

Legend bowl is incredible! Any tips on the run game? That’s the only part of the game that’s a bit iffy to me but it’s probably just me doing it wrong

I will have to try it. I get the animations and what not and the points you're making there, but I'm curious to see the player behavior in terms of their assignments which was by far the number one thing that irked me when I played Madden (10 to 13) that turned me off the game. The strategy elements of football are what got me into football gaming. The old Football Pro series on the PC kind of thing. If Maximum Football can do that well, I would be willing to support it for sure.

Ofcourse it’s gonna feel clunky etc at times. It’s a beta, and they gave a big list at the beginning of the screen that said all its flaws.

This is a beautiful ok game. Needs work but I have fun playing it. But it needs work and a lot more polish. Uploading two videos later

There on the right path u just got to be ready to invest to get the game exactly like madden when they really don’t need to go that deep!! Clean up the running blocking qb throwing n animation it a be just fine for a game that’s free and we are only paying for roster updates each year!! N atleast we got a team that’s gonna be or hope there gonna be locked in on building this game up, and there’s no rush to put it out keep working keep doing the homework! Right now it reminds me of super high impact for Super Nintendo with the game play but graphics are great so far

I’m at the 14:30 part, and it seems you’re pretty hard on the game. To be fair you can’t complain much when you’re losing to the computer.

They should really use high res sprites

Madden needs competition end of. They have dominated this market for so long that people start to think that Madden is the be all and end all of football games. Madden has played me and you for years. We need new developers.

As much as I despise Madden, it's not an easy football game to overcome. We're talking decades and billions plus the license and more. Sad, but true.
