This always cheers me up.

A comic genius, had the good fortune of seeing him live three times, still laughing and this was in the sixties, thanks Max, you were my dad's favourite and mine, at one performance he looked up at me because I was laughing so loud and gave me that funny look which only made me worse, the present day , and I use the word advisedly, comics are dross, and the thing is they know it, they are like personalties, they know they are shit but thyey keep on taking the money and getting closer to suicide.

Max was our staple diet back in the 60's. Great to look back at just how good he was.

Does anyone know where one can find the original to this? There are lots of similar ones to this overdubbed with modern tunes but, whilst still entertaining, I think it loses the original idea as Max meant to convey it. Brilliant comic with original gags. 😂

@ishnummunshi I've got no idea ! It was on here, hence the reason so many changed the music to it. I'm a fan too and its very hard to find old clips of him. Funny and surreal at the same time.

Thanks for this cullyvan, There just wasn't anyone to touch Max Wall in my opinion - simply comic genius. I watched a video on here a while ago of him making some fake acceptance speech and a drum starts playing in the background drowning him out then he gives up and starts up with the funny walk again as if to say - well that's all the people really want to see, i'll do it.. I've been trying to find it again - it was really hilarious but can't! what's happened to it? What was that video?
