I have flown with max in his machine at Kununurra 2016, he is a legend. Cheers
What a character. Bloody brilliant!
Goodness me, this vid is full of gems. "This A/C is foolproof until a fool flies it", ha! It's been a while since I watched your channel and having fun with the backlog. And a bloody SKS armed gyro for shooting ground targets?! How did that go for him? Max certainly makes the Road Warrior look like a documentary, hah! What's next, chucking beer bottles that may or may not be filled with a certain cocktail from the gyro? Loving the bomb-like belly-tank, too. What a vid. Cheers, and hope you're havin' a good time!
What a great character. Great video.
Oh snap Max got it off the ground, that's amazing man!!!!!!!

I love your helmet cam vids
Nice job!!!
I love your videos.....
sure I wououd fly his gyro. It sounds like it is well built.
What calculation did the builder do to determine the amount of surface area for the vertical stabilizer?
Yes I would fly in it😊
Interesting for me is which type of engine he used. His gyro use a lot of gasoline... 26 L/h is a lot. Engine have a carburator ? Maybe this is a reason ? Any how.... Gooooooood work. Respect for Your friend. Rob

It's a Subaru EJ25 engine, non carby. Gyro motors normally use pretty high revs to stay up maybe that's also why 👍

That’s a nice machine he built. I would fly with him anytime.
And what type of engine is it what size
lol. I think I would fly that beautiful thing but I noticed that ALL of your footage was from Terrafirma. Edit ----> 😊😊 😉😉😉
Had a thought driving home today, has anyone put a Mazda rotary in a gyro? Or any ultralight?

Yes, a gentleman from Macon Georgia, in the US has been flying and training using Mazda rotary engine since the early ‘90’s. He has worn many of them out. I can give you a count officially how many he has used and replaced but it is considerably more than 5. I believe he is pushing 235 hp on a Parsons tandem trainer style of fuselage.

On my channel description I have an email address. I am not very knowledgeable about engineering questions because I don't build I just fly, just letting you know 😁👍
У дедули шлем прикольный😅😅😅
Hoe big are the rotor blades
